The Gestalt's charm begins to work its magic as you enter via the stone walkway through a flowering garden courtyard surrounded by lofty palm trees.
This home features open-air Mediterranean architecture showcasing living and dining areas on two levels, where elegant seagrass furnishings lend a stylish, tropical air, and where shady seclusion looks out to verdant plantings and serene ocean views. Gestalt is alluringly decorated in sea and sky blues and white with cheery yellow accents throughout. The adjacent bedroom wing with its four air-conditioned, screened bedrooms and four and one-half baths overlooks the very private pool and a large sun deck with cushioned teak patio furniture and a hammock. A private path leads down to Gestalt's oceanside dock - shared with Blackbeard's Hideaway next door - for diving & snorkeling.
Masterfully designed to combine maximum livability with unparalleled privacy, The Gestalt may also be combined with Steele Point villa, 1/3 mile down the estate road, to accommodate larger groups of up to 16 persons.
Complimentary transfer from airport or ferry by private van with drive for arriving guests (or upon arrival, guests can follow guest in their rental vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE: The caretaker at Steele Point Estate (Gestalt & Steele Point villas) lives near by in a separate apartment on the Estate (but not in Gestalt or Steele Point villas). He's there to assist you with anything you might need, including island advice - but your privacy at Gestalt is completely assured.
Please note: Christmas/New Years require a 14-night minimum and Thanksgiving rentals require a 7-night minimum.
