This was the fourth villa we have rented on the island in 6 years and was our favourite. The property is set on a residential area which we gather has only recently been completed. As most of the villas were still empty it was totally peaceful as we only saw 5 other villas occupied however not sure how this would be when they are all occupied!
The villa was clean on arrival but was not cleaned during our 2 week holiday including the pool which considering the windy climate would not have been acceptable had we not taken leaves and insects out on a daily basis.
The description on the website was accurate and having access to photos helped to visualise what to expect on arrival.
To improve the accommodation we would have liked more Sky Channels (including BBC and ITV as they were not available) and whilst it is nice to read that Jasper Conran crockery is there, the appliances need to be working efficiently. The oven took ages to heat up and the vacuum cleaner which we eventually found in the bathroom cupboard didn't have a hoover bag in it!
I appreciate these are minor details but would enhance the overall enjoyment of the villa.
One restaurant definitely worth a visit for special occassions is La Cocina de Colacho near Marina Rubicon. Best meal we have had on the island ever!
Would definitely recommend this villa as it has excellent decor and stunning views considering the location which is inland next to Montana Roja.
