Charming detached original Victorian coach house mews in the upmarket fashionable south coast suburban village of Monkstown. Tucked away in a quiet leafy country style private lane,close to the sea, yet only 12 minutes by DART to Dublin city centre. Own private high walled courtyard to sit out and take the sun or park your car. Walk to fashionable Monkstown and Dun Laoire restaurants and Gastropubs. Close to yacht clubs and numerous golf and country clubs. There is a good sized living cum dining room with fully equipped galley kitchen off. The first floor bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together. The ensuite bathroom has bath. No shower. Visit James Joyce tower and beautiful Dalkey and Killiney. Monkstown is a beautiful area convenient for town yet is only minutes from the N11 and out to the Wicklow Mountains. Very convenient for AIG Blackrock, Berlitz, Ericssons, Microsoft at Sandyford/Leopardstown, UCD, Trinity or M50. 10 mins walk to DART. 46a bus route.

Monkstown is a very upmarket South Dublin village by the sea. it has a lovely little village with beautiful boutiques and lots of restaurants and three great pubs. Monkstown is on the Dublin city side of Dun Laoghaire, which is where the ferries arrive, and which has 4 yacht clubs, great shops, pubs and restaurants. Monkstown has lots of beautiful homes and is only 12 minutes to Dublin city centre by the dart which runs along the coast. Monkstown, Dun Laoire, Blackrock, Dalkey - all have lots of fashionable restaurants and pubs and shops without having to go into the city centre at night at all. Beside Sandycove, the James Joyce Tower Killiney (where Bono of u2 lives,) and the lovely little village of Dalkey. Ten minutes drive brings you out to the N11 and down along the coast to the Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt at Enniskerry, or to County Wexford for day trips. We recommend a car in Winter as the property is in a country style private laneway and is unlit at night

Notes: This is an original Victorian coach house mews and is quirky and artistic. It is quiet and peaceful and our American guests tell us it is like being in the country in the middle of the city. Being an original coach house mews it is in the country style leafy laneway to the rear of our house (totally separate and private entrance). We are very close to the Yacht Clubs, and wonderful walks along the seafront and on the East and West pier in Dun Laoghaire. There are leisure centres nearby and golf clubs abound in south County Dublin - Elm Park, Killiney, Woodbrook, Foxrock. South Dublin's riviera is your oyster.
