Casa del Sol is a charming Mediterranean-inspired villa located in exclusive Belmont Estate on Tortola's West End. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath villa is noted for spectacular sunsets, and commands a magnificent 180-degree view over the turquoise Caribbean, including famous Long Bay Beach, Jost Van Dyke, and St Thomas. The panorama is everpresent the moment one walks down the beautifully landscaped path to the swimming pool, with its spacious deck, wet bar & gas barbecue grill.
Casa del Sol is arranged on several mezzanine levels, with the fully-appointed kitchen on the split level above the living room. Adjacent to the kitchen is the Caribbean style-dining room, with polished wooden table and seating for 6. A king bedroom suite adjoins the dining room, and features wide windows which access the breathtaking view.
The Santa Fe-styled living room, with cool glazed Mexican tiled floors, is located a few steps below the mezzanine, and is attractively & eclectically styled. Large screened doors open on 2 sides to the oceanview terrace and pool. Another bedroom with Queen bed overlooks the swimming pool, while the 3rd bedroom, also with Queen canopy bed, opens directly onto the pool. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, screened windows & shutters.
Casa del Sol is an easy 5-minute drive to Long Bay beach, and less than 10 minutes to the quiet sands of Smugglers Cove. The villa's Belmont Estate location is also advantageous for taking advantage of Tortola's West End, as restaurants, boutiques, watersports & ferries at West End/Sopers Hole may all be reached via a short drive.
For larger parties traveling together, Casa del Sol is located just below villa Taino (RH TAI) on the same road.
PLEASE NOTE: as the owners wish to respect the serenity of the property, there is no TV at Casa del Sol. If you wish, a TV with combination DVD/VCR can be placed in the villa at no extra charge, with sufficient notice.
The security deposit is $500 (refundable 45 days after departure).
Villa rates exclude 7% tax & 10% service.
