Villa Latitude is an upscale 3-bedroom, 3½-bath home boasting stunning views of Rendezvous Bay, Klein Bay & Ditliff Point. Located on the south side of St. John directly above Klein Bay, this home is a short minute walk to a secluded cobble beach with excellent snorkeling. Here, the pelicans, frigate birds and everpresent surf are gentle reminders of just how accommodating life is on St John.
Custom mahogany furniture & cabinets, granite countertops, native stonework & other architectural details reflect a high quality of style & design. Latitude’s convenient layout allows for easy conversation and movement between the pool, deck, outdoor covered areas & Great Room. This spacious Great Room accommodates formal entertaining or just casual living. The graceful marble top dining table seats 8 amid spectacular views. There's also an alfresco dining table on the terrace.
All 3 bedrooms have a/c, spectacular views & ensuite baths with double sink vanities, walk-in showers & double mahogany closets. The queen master bedroom in the main house is bright & breezy with an expansive view of Klein Bay that can be experienced right from the bed. A large shower with 2 showerheads also opens onto the view, and French doors open directly onto the poolside deck. A 2nd queen bedroom is in an adjacent bungalow beyond the pool & outdoor dining area. On the upper floor of the bungalow is the 3rd bedroom, with 2 twins that can be made into a king. This bedroom has a tiny circular deck for enjoying the view.
Latitude's pool & hot tub are positioned to take advantage of the views over Klein Bay. Several steps above the villa is the open-air gazebo which is a haven for enjoying total privacy & spectacular views. A short 1-minute walk from Latitude leads to the secluded cobble beach below, with excellent snorkeling on the protected bay where rocks & coral reefs harbor diverse colorful fish. Even beginners are likely to see turtles, rays & squid moving between the reefs & sea grass!
Latitude is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet convenient to various activities on the island. The sandy beach at Great Cruz Bay (Westin Resort) is a 7-minute drive, and charming Cruz Bay town (with shops, boutiques, restaurants, watersports & interisland ferries) is around 10 minutes by car. St John's world-renowned north shore National Park beaches are a 15-20-minute drive from the villa.
For friends traveling together, Latitude is in close proximity to Anansi (CT ANA) & Morningside (CT MOR).
