The Oriuolo elegant apartment is about 100 sq. with, a large terrace, on the first floor of an ancient building in front of a cloister with a garden, now a museum and library. Its location is in the very heart of Florence, 100 metres from the Duomo and within walking distance from many restaurants, museums, monuments, theatres and the famous fashionable shopping areas. It has 2 bedrooms, suitable for two couples: the first is a large charming room with a king-sized bed, separated from the second, which has cast-iron twin beds, by an entrance and a long corridor . There are 2 bathrooms both with showers. The furniture is antique style, while the kitchen is modern and fully equipped, including fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cutlery and crockery, etc. The living room has a sofa bed and leads to the beautiful terrace, furnished as a private dining space. Air conditioned - Internet ADSL – TV- DVD. Ideal for 4 persons, short or long term rental.

The apartment is in the heart of Florence’s historic centre, 100 meters from the Brunelleschi Dome, and walking distance from museums, monuments, famous brand name shops and charming boutiques with handmade goods, theatres and many restaurants. The Uffizi Gallery is less than 10 minutes’ walk, as well as the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Bargello, Galleria dell'Accademia ( David, Michelangelo’s masterpiece) etc. This Oriuolo apartment is located in a ZTL, an area with limited traffic access, only for residents, resulting in a tranquil environment. Near the apartment there is a garage where it is possible to find paid parking. The apartment is near many famous cultural landmarks: the new Oblate library is right in front, with an incomparable view of the Duomo and its surroundings, and also, only 15 minutes’ walk, the 'Archivio di Stato', the Pergola Theatre etc. In addition, there are many schools and educational institutes for Italian language and culture very near.

A one-of-a-kind haven in the midst of the bustling historic district. It is an apartment that makes living in Italy thriving, not just surviving. With a view overlooking a cloister garden and a large private garden terrace it was hard to pull oneself away to go see the sights of Florence. Being a block from the Duomo and a block from a great grocery store made local living fun. The convenience of a washing machine also simplfied life so we could focus on enriching our florentine experience.
All in all I would go back there in a heartbeat, just to awaken each morning to Giotto's resounding bells.
