Perola da Lagoa is a new golfing development situated in a huge expanse of pine forest nestling on the edge of the huge Lagoa de Obidos ( Obidos Lagoon .) 10 mins drive takes you to the award winning Praia del Rey championship golf course. Perola golf course currently under development. Adjacent is the 5 star Marriott Hotel and Spa. 20 mins takes you to Obidos : Medieval walled town offering exquisite restaurants and bars, cobbled streets with tiny cottages draped in wysteria and bourgenvillea. Beaches are a short drive away : Miles of white sand and surf attracting surfers from afar. The nearest restaurant is called 'Perola da Lagoa :' 3 mins drive away. This restaurant is famous for it's 'Steak on a stone ' Raw steak served on a red hot stone. It cooks on the stone in front of you. Surf bars and cafes are close by and across the lagoon at Foz and further afield towards Peniche which is famous for it's fishing restaurants.
