75m2 Modern and spacious apartment with lots of light in living room and near the city center. Quiet situation, 20 minute-walk from the city center and the Olympic beaches. The apartment has kitchen (w/microwave and dish washer), very nice bathroom with bath, 2 sleeping rooms, heating in winter, washing machine, TV with DVD, wi-fi Internet, lift. Food market and supermarket at 100m distance. Very well connected: close to bus-station Estació del Nord and train station Arc de Triomf. Bull-fighting square Plaza de toros Monumental at 200meters. Near the city center and Born area (perfect to come back walking at night, specially if you don't find a taxi!). Perfect to live every day a different experience in Barcelona and surroundings (Costa Brava, Costa Dorada, country-side).

The area is one corner of the biggest district in Barcelona, l'Eixample. This quarter, called Fort Pienc, is built around the bus station Estació del Nord, (Girona airport bus stops here). It is a quiet area, though strategically placed in the middle of major Barcelona touristic interests: Sagrada Familia, beach, city center. This makes an excellent location for visitors who want to go shopping, sight-seeing and in the night going out and come back walking (it is difficult to catch a taxi at night in the center).

Also there is a toaster and 2 coffee machines (espresso and filter). The washing machine is in the bathroom. The balcony is just to stand up, is a typical Eixample balcony. Building is from 1933 and is a quiet location.

Modern apartment in BARCELONA

I would like to start by saying my wife and i love the apartment for us it has every wow vacta it is a 20 min walk to what ever you like the town center the beach sight seeing it is great.I think anyone who stays at the apartment will love it as much as my wife and i.

Very Disappointing Apartment

The owner was friendly & helpful, however, we were not at all happy with the apartment. The apartment was not clean though the owner did discount the cleaning fee; the location is NOT quiet, it was, in fact, very noisy; the kitchen was full of badly cracked, unhygenic crockery & pans which have seen better days; there was not enough comfortable seating for the number in our party (there was only 1 two seater sofa which was very dirty & had to be covered); most of the appliances in the apartment are very old; bedroom 2 has no usuable storage space as the wardrobe is full of the owners possessions; there was no potable water, as advertised,in the kitchen; there is a computer & wifi for customer use which is very helpful; the apartment is a short walk to many tourist areas and is also well served by public transport.

ideal apartment to explore barcelona

I could not recommend this apartment highly enough - it was perfect for what we wanted - well located near central Barcelona [ 50 metres from Metro station also ! ] It is in great condition , beautifully maintained , very clean and spacious . It is in a nice quiet location , very easily accesssible , also very convenient to bus station for travel to/from Girona airport . The owner Akira could not have been more courteous and helpful , and gave us lots of advice re places to eat , transport , attractions etc. I would recommend to anyone visiting .

good appartement, wel equiped; nearby beach and harbour all on walking distance; subway nearby evenso supermarket and restaurants. On the balcony rumour from the trafic. Internet works!
Lot of stuff from the owner in appartement (can become handy).
