Nice place - nice people

We spent two weeks at the Bahar-il-Caghaq appartment at the end of May beginning of June 2009. We found the owner very nice, welcoming and helpfull in every way.
The sea view is breath taking and the appartment spacious and clean and very nicely furnished.
If you like cooking you might find the kitchen a little bit poor in ustensil for cooking but you can go on with the things that are there.
There is a bus stop near by so you can go by bus to Valletta and Sliema for shopping and sight seeing. The bus passes evey half an hour and as we like the Maltese buses we can recommend you to take them, too. Going by bus is really an experience one shouldn't miss, it is cheap, secure and will take you to mostly every place on the islands. On Maltese Islands drivers circle on the left - you have to get used to that, in Valletta or Sliema there are quasi no parking facilities and street signs are rare.
At about ten minutes walk from the house is the Mediterranean Sea life center and next to that the Fun Splash Park. Well you must like those places.
We did prefer the little stony beach in the back where you can swim and snorchel a little.
Only minus to the place is the street in front of the house.
But we can recommend the place very warmly.

A comment was made about the utensils in the kitchen were found a bit poor. I promise these are being replaced and new ones should be in place very soon.
Finally Rose and I feel it is our duty to make the stay of our guests as pleasant as possible and to help them in any way we can.
