Our villa is located in the Royal Mougins Golf Resort. A semi private resort a few minutes drive from the old village of Mougins renowned for its galleries and restaurants.15 minutes away from 'la Croisette' and beaches of Cannes, and 25 minutes from Nice airport. It is ideally situated close to Cannes,Nice, Grasse, Antibes and Saint Paul Du Vence. Saint-Tropez and Monaco within a reasonable drive. Skiing? : 50 km to the winter sport resort of Gréolières les Neiges, and 110km to Isola 2000. Mougins area is rich in cultural heritage with countless museums, galleries and a vast array of restaurants. Many sport and leisure opportunities close by, including beaches, yachting, petanque, tennis, horseback riding and skiing. More than 12 golf courses within a 45 min’s drive. During 'season' you may rent the villa for an extended week-end, Thursday to Sunday, at a reduced price: 80% of normal rent. But expect above agreement to be on a last minute basis, with confirmation 1-2 weeks prior to week-end in question. 3 night rental possible most periods at a 20% reduction of normal weekly rent.   • HERE IS HOW we do it, after your decision to rent:
    1) You decide when you want to rent, you email us.
    2) Any questions you may have are welcome.
    3) I will reserve the villa for you.
    4) I will email info about how to transfer a refundable deposit of 25%, to secure your booking.
    5) We both sign a contract with the arrangement.
    Everything can be arranged via e-mail.
    During 'season' we can arrange a special reduced price of normal rate minus 20% for week-end stays. Wednesday to Saturday, or Thursday to Sunday. Based on availability only, and expect rather late confirmation. Tell me what you want, and I will try and fit you in. Also if you want to extend your stay until perhaps Sunday instead of Saturday.

Notes:

A nice living room on the ground floor, with all the furniture you will need: A big 32' TV with a variety of channels, a video, a DVD player and a telephone. The villa has WI-FI internet. (Royal Mougins Clubhouse is also 'hot spot' WI-FI area (from May 2008)). A dining table and chairs for 6 persons, a small hi-fi stereo. A large leather sofa, suited for 5, and a leather chair. Upstairs 2 bedrooms very similar to each other, double bed, two bedside tables and wall to wall closet. One bedroom has direct access to the upstairs balcony, from which you have a nice view along the 5th hole, and straight ahead between the trees, you'll see a glimpse of the 14th green. On the ground floor, there is a hall, mirror, a toilet just next to the fully fitted kitchen. The living room and kitchen expands out into our nice terrace overlooking the 5th tee. From this terrace you will enjoy other golfers slice, hook or get lucky.

Golf Information:

Established in 1993, Royal Mougins Golf Resort is an exclusive, private Club created for the sole privilege of its Members and their invited guests. Built on limited space and designed by world-renowned American architect, Robert von Hagge, the 18 hole championship golf course has a par of 71, measuring 6004 meters from the championship tees. Located in the Community of Mougins, just 10 minutes outside Cannes on the French Riviera, it occupies the secluded “Vallon de L’Oeuf”, a quiet Provençal landscape, dominated by olive trees on ancient stonewall terraces. The railway from Mouans Satoux to La Bocca runs through the course from north to south, but the rather silent train seems to bother no one here. Train runs peak hours only, twice an hour, each direction. Course management and target golf are prerequisites in order to score well on this tight and reasonably hilly course, dotted with lakes and rivers, often surrounded by characteristic sand bunkers. A fantastic course!!

Lovely Villa in a Great Location

The villa is exactly as described and pictured on the website. It has all the amenities needed for a great holiday.

We loved the location with easy access to many lovely villages and beautiful golf courses. Great restaurants, groceries, bakeries all within easy reach. Fully equipped kitchen which made it a pleasure to enjoy all the great foods of Provence and a visit to the Antibes Sunday market .

The villa is very comfortable and well furnished. Especially appreciated is the great lighting in the main bathroom with a power outlet available for hair dryers, etc. Also, the villa has a great entertainment center.

Lastly, Michael was dellightful and very responsive to work with. There is no question that the owners of this villa care about their guest and are very accomodating to work with.

We would highly recommend this villa and plan a return visit for a longer stay next year.
