This charming family villa is situated in the hills outside Tourrettes sur Loup just 30mins from Nice airport. From the garden and terraces enjoy stunning views across the valley to the picturesque historic village of Bar sur Loup, and look ahead to the medieval village of Gourdon, This secluded villa is set in a large south facing terraced garden full of olives and palms, which is fully enclosed perfect for children. There is a large swimming pool fully enclosed with security fence, and ample sun beds garden furniture, and gas BBQ for alfresco dining. The villa comprises of a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table, large open plan lounge and dining room with a wood burning stove, perfect for those cosy autumn/winter evenings. French doors lead to a covered terrace, and panoramic views. The master bedroom also has French doors leading to its own private terrace with panoramic views. 2 further double bedrooms, one with bunk beds. Bathroom with bath/shower, sink and toilet.

8 minutes drive from the villa, Tourrettes sur loup is a beautiful mountain village, famous for its artists and craftspeople. There you will find many restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as grocery stores and bakeries. Once a week, there is a local market. Just 10 minutes further Vence and St Paul de Vence, famed for its art galleries and shops and the famous chapel decorated by Matisse. Taking the opposite direction from the villa towards Grasse, the famous perfume city, you will reach the medieval villages of Pont du Loup and Bar sur loup with in 5 minutes. Very close by is the entrance to the spectacular Gorges du Loup and its towering cliffs and glistening waterfalls, just 40 minutes further you will discover the local ski resort of Greolieres. Beaches and the airport are situated 30 mins away and Antibes, Nice, and Cannes only 40 mins away. Only a little further along the coast is Monaco and the Italian border,or why not head west to St Tropez.

Notes: The approach to the house is up quite a steep quiet road, and then enter our gates and our driveway with enough room for 20 cars, all on very flat land. The villa is all on one level with a terrace surrounding it. The property has fresh herbs, olive trees and various plants throughout.

The perfect destination to explore the Provence

We spent a wonderful week in Tourrettes and the house met our excpectations by 100%. We had a great week, the pool is marvellous, the outside arrangements are perfect to the point that we intend to buy the same barbecue for our home garden and the inside (we did not use as much as the outside since we mostly lived outside as you can imagine) is greatly meeting the needs; in one word - fantastic!
Even if the location is a little bit outside the trouble of the Côte d'Azur, it is close enough to be there in the daytime and retire to the quietness of the Grasse region forests in the evening to enjoy a wonderful barbecue or a midnight swim in the pool.
Spending a day around the pool is great since the pool is deep and large enough to swim!
Owner's Response: As you can read this is a fantastic villa for a family to spend a relaxing holiday, don't miss out, book now!! There are still weeks free in September and October this year!!!

We had a very nice week in the charming house and enjoyed every second. The pool is perfect and the view to the mountains is great. It is very calm and perfect for relaxing. The fantastic surroundings gives you a lot of possibilities for short visits - this is Provance ! We will be back.
