The villa is elevated on a hillside overlooking the Harbour and picturesque villages of Las Fuentas and Alcossebre with its 5 blue flag beaches, shops and restaurants. Fabulous 9 metre pool and terraces set in landscaped gardens creating option for sun and shade as required. Downstairs covered terrace with dining furniture to seat 8 and views over pool and out across the villages and marina. 2 upstairs open terraces with bistro tables and chairs ideal for breakfast breathtaking views to include pine forests, early morning and all day sun. This property really has everything you need for a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday. The benefit of flying to this area is the availability of return flights for £50 per person, if booked early, the owners can give further details. Pool heating is at an additional cost based purely on oil usage.

Welcome to the unspoilt coastline of Costa Del Azahar, the Orange Blossom Coast. Alcossebre is a real Spanish village, surrounded by orange groves with the mountains on one side, sea on the other and within the national park area of Sierra D'Irta Mountains, so no high rises here! Alcossebre boasts 5 beautiful blue flag beaches, superb restaurants, shops, bakery and bank are 5 minutes away as is the centre with it wide choice of shops, restaurants, promenade and busy marina. The Orange Blossom Coast has miles and miles of beautiful beaches, and secret coves. It also has one of the most mountainous regions in Spain, with medieval villages and outstanding landscapes. Places to visit include Morella, a medieval walled town and Peniscola with its old town and famous castle over looking the sea. Water Park 20 min by car at Benecassim and Port Aventura boasts a full blown Universal Studios Theme Park and Water Park.

Local shops provide an ample selection of quality produce with super and hypermarkets at nearby Benicarlo, Vinaros and Castellon approximately 20 and 30 minutes drive respectively. An abundance of local restaurants, cafe and Tapas bars, provide a wide range of good quality food to suit all tastes.

Distances and Travel: Barcelona Airport is approx 2 hours away, Reus and Valencia airports are about 1 hour. A car is recommended to fully explore and appreciate this beautiful area of Spain. The Orange Blossom Coast has miles and miles of beautiful beaches, and secret coves. It also has one of the most mountainous regions in Spain, with medieval villages and outstanding landscapes. Places to visit include Morella, a medieval walled town and Peniscola with its old town and famous castle over looking the sea. Port Aventura has a fantastic themed water park and Universal Studios Theme Park.

We stayed in this villa in april 2009. Before our arrival the owner sent us a lot of information about the villa and the surroundings. We received also driving instructions from the airport to the villa, so it was easy for us to find it.
We used the tips from Rob, the owner of the villa, for eating out as well!
The villa was very clean and well-maintained. We stayed with 5 adults and we had a lot of space in and around the villa. We liked especially the three bathrooms, situated next to each bedroom. The pool was well-sized and it was possible to swim in it at this time of the year without heating. There was also enough equipment for homecooking and we used the bbq also! So, we liked it a lot!
Alcossebre is a nice coastal place, not to big and gladly not many high appartment-buildings. The beaches are nice, and with a lot of little bars and restaurants.

We went for a trip to Valencia by train, from the station in Alcala de Xivert. Further one we went to interesting places nearby, such as Peniscola, Morella, San Mateu, the Ebro Delta.
I would definately recommend this villa to anyone who wants a luxerious stay. You need although a car, because the villa is situated at the top of a hill.
Great views though from the garden and especially from the terraces!

Stunning !

We stayed at the Villa for 1 week from June 15th to June 22nd, 2008 and were originally attracted by the desciption and the private pool.
My wife and I were looking for a quite break for a week to get away from it all. The villa was exactly what we wanted and the description was spot on. The villa is stunning, very relaxing and a good base for sightseeing excursions if required. One thing to mention is its at the top of a long steep hill so a car is a must really - but Great for the views ! There are 2 balconys and the terrace with dining table and chairs to drink a bottle of wine or two and take in the views :)

The villa was immaculately clean , the garden well cared for and everything you could need is there. Communciation from Rob including key delivery and driving instructions etc was excellent.Once we arrived at the villa, we quicky settled in and read the detailed welcome notes with everything you could need to know. Then we met the neighbours who were extremely welcoming and offered us additional local tips for sightseeing , pubs & restaurants etc.The shops / restaurants are a 5 minute drive away with lots of choice available. One day we took the train from Benicarlo to Barcelona for a day trip. Valencia was probably slightly closer but Barca won the vote on this trip.

I would definately recommend this villa to anyone who wants a bit of luxury , a secluded quiet chill-out to get away from it all with bars / restaurants a short car ride away if you need it.
