A modern 4 Bedroom house on the edge of the village of Almayate, near Torre del Mar, 30 mins from Malaga Airport. The front roof terrace has a wide uninterrupted view of the sea and there is a peaceful, sandy beach 300-400 metres away. Almayate is a small friendly Spanish village with some local shops, cafes and bars, a bank, supermarkets and a popular restaurant well known in the area. The property benefits from security grills, security blinds and a safe for visitor’s use. There is a shared pool for residents only 20 metres away. Ground floor: Large living/dining area with 2x sofas, TV/SAT & DVD player, dining table & chairs, ceiling fan. Newly fitted kitchen, larder & utility area with washing m/c. A small private garden area at front. 1st floor (all with fitted wardrobes) Bed 1: King size bed, patio doors with sea views. Attractions include an Aqua Park for all the family, Torre Del Mar has an extensive promenade and many restaurants, cafes and bars. Torre Del Mar has a newly opened tram service to a large modern shopping centre nearby called Eroski. There is local go-karting, horse riding, bowling, tennis, scuba diving and catamaran hire. Places to visit include nearby Lake Venuela towards the mountains, Nerja and its caves only 25 minutes away and the traditional white hillside village of Frigliana. The famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is 1 hr 45 mins drive. Baviera 18 hole championship golf courses and Anoreta golf courses are both only 10 mins drive away with driving ranges, pro shops and club houses. The property is 300 - 400m from the tranquil sandy beach of Almayate (10 minutes walk).

Notes: Newly installed Kitchen with granite worktop and ceramic hob. The microwave is a combination microwave, oven and grill. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the lounge. For winter lets there is an open fire in the lounge. The house is suitable for elderly people but there are steps up to the front door and stairs to the bedrooms. There is no smoking in the house but there is plenty of outside space for smoking. There are two roof terraces both with a table and chairs, there is a choice to sit in shade or sun. We have a 1.3M satellite dish to receive all (ASTRA 2) UK free TV channels. (Please note this is not the Sky subscription package). We even have a 2nd dish that receives all ASTRA 1 international free channels.

Rates (subject to change) at Bavaria golf as at September 2007: Green Fee: € 46 (18 holes), Buggies: € 18, Trolleys: € 3, Clubs rental: € 18, Bags Rental: € 12. Golf lesson (1 hour) €25.

Skiing: Sierra Nevada is approx a 2 hour drive to its ski resorts, chair lifts and restaurants.

A Lovely House in a great location

The house is well maintained and very clean, the pool was great, we had it to ourselves most of the time. The location was great, felt like I was really in Spain, we spent alot of time in Benajafe and found a great churingito called Playa Malaya that does wonderful fish. The roof terrace was lovely at night watching the stars with a glass of wine or two !! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend it.

A lovely place to stay

The house was very clean and pleasant to stay in the facilities exceeded our expectations with everything you could want. There are fantastic panoramic views of the sea from the 2nd floor front terrace and lovely to sit out with a glass of wine in the warm evening air. We practically had the pool to ourselves the whole time (even though it is shared with other houses in the block who are mainly Spanish residents.. all very friendly). It is really handy to walk into the village in the evening and there is a great local restaurant called “Pepemolinos” - definitely recommended. Some evenings we took the 10 minute stroll down to the beach to watch the sun-set go down with no-one else around.. brilliant break and will definitely come again and hope to stay longer next time.

A superb accomodation for groups/families

It is a very high quality accomodation conveneintly situated providing access to all the interesting venues: clean beaches, shopoing malls and a variety of eateries.

The inhouse infomation/instruction manual ( giving detailed guidelines as to how to use facilities in the house as well as the the public transport time tables and taxis'/restaurants' numbers) provided by the owners is a very useful help for newcomers in the area.
I would certainly recomend to family friends and would definitely book again with pleasure.

Wir (Familie mit 3 Kindern, 7, 11 und 13 Jahre alt) konnten hier einen entspannten und sehr erholsamen zweiwöchigen Urlaub abseits des Massentourismus verbringen. Die Angaben im Online-Inserat trafen alle zu. Das Haus befand sich in einem sehr gepflegten und sauberen Zustand mit viel Platz für uns. Von einer der beiden Dachterassen hatten wir einen fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Die Informationen in einer Mappe im Haus waren sehr ausführlich und stellten eine große Hilfe für uns dar (Restaurants, Einkaufen, Ausflüge, Infos zum Haus...). Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und kommen gerne wieder.
