Contemporary self catering holiday apartments within minutes of Margate's main beach and close to the secluded beaches of Palm Bay and Walpole Bay. Furnished to a high standard within grade 2 listed Georgian apartments (converted in 2007) offering a luxurious relaxing break for families, couples and groups. These lovely apartments retain some original Georgian features and offers amazing views of the Margate sunrise and sunset from deep sash windows. The ground floor apartment has an enclosed courtyard garden and sleeps 4-5, the second-third floor penthouse apartment has a double bedroom and sofa bed and sleeps up to 4. We offer a great base for a family holiday, easy access to the beach in the summer and a warm hideaway in the Autumn/ Winter. The Penthouse makes a romantic hideaway for couples throughout the year. Both apartments can be booked for larger groups. WE ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CHEQUE OR CREDIT CARD- see below for details, there is a 3% charge for credit card payment

The apartment is accessed from the second floor landing via a narrow communal staircase. There is a further staircase up to the boot room with additional storage space and to the apartment landing area with the entry phone and a console table. Living room- 3 seater corner Chaise with double sprung sofabed, tub chair and drawer storage, digital 26 inch LCD TV, CD/DVD player, surround sound system, lighting and 2 sash windows with panoramic sea views Double doors to: Kitchen- Gas/ electric cooker and hob,microwave oven, kettle, toaster, espresso/ cappuccino maker, dishwasher, washing machine/ tumble dryer, glass table and 4 chairs, AM/FM radio and IPod dock (suits all MP3 payers). Fully equipped with cutlery, crockery,glasses and cookware. Sash window to dining area with panoramic sea views Bedroom- double bed with wardrobe and drawer storage and hi-fi unit and views over Margate roof tops Bathroom- Shower bath with heated towel rail

ACCESS: A car is not necessary. There is good local bus network for journeys to Broad stairs and Ramsgate and the new shopping centre at Westwood Cross. You can also take a ferry or Euro tunnel train to France for a day trip. Bike hire is available in the town or you might enjoy the many coastal walks in the area. PARKING There is free parking on the street outside the building and on nearby streets. Spaces are usually easy to find but there are also 2 nearby car parks at approximately £3 for 24 hours.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment and it was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with lovely views of the Winter Gardens and the sea beyond. The owner advised that the apartment was accessed by a fairly narrow staricase but we are pensioners (very fit) and had no problems with the stairs.

Unfortunately Margate is very grotty and we were glad that we had hired a car to visit the surrounding areas of Canterbury, Ramsgate and Broadstairs.
Owner's Response: Margate continues to improve its visitor facilities and offers beautiful beaches and an 'old town' feel with its independent coffee shops and bistros and growing arts movement. Other guests have been able to enjoy the town and tour the nearby seaside and inland areas using buses, trains and cycles. Margate is different- it's not a faceless small town and has retained its individuality and offers a real break from the strains of modern life.

Die Ferienwohnung ist nur zur Empfehlen wir waren schon zwei mal da und werden bestimmt noch mal kommen .Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet alles ist vorhanden was man braucht bis auf Kleinichkeiten
Wir waren jedes mal begeistert und haben uns sehr voll da gefühlt .Guter anhaltspunkt fuer Ausflüge nach London .
