Luxury cottages refurbished to a very high standard, right in the centre of Croyde. Kitchens include: Range cooker, granite work tops, flat screen TV, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave. Living room includes: flat screen TVs, DVD players, leather sofas, oak flooring, central heating, etc. Very pleasant garden with barbeque and outdoor eating area. Both bath and shower facilities. Short walk to beach, pubs and restaurants. Off street parking. Delightful. All bed linen etc supplied, please bring personal towels.

This bijou listed 19th century cottage sleeps 4 and has been refurbished to a very high standard. The kitchen has granite work tops, a range cooker a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/drier and a wall mounted flat screen TV. There is a character living/dining room with 2 comfortable leather sofas, oak flooring, wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player and a remote control gas fire. The master bedroom is a single aspect room overlooking the rear courtyard with a double bed. Bedroom 2 is again single aspect room looking out over the lane to the front with 2 single beds. There is an upstairs shower room, with vigorous power shower. Please note there is no bath in this cottage. There is also a downstairs wet-room with power shower. Leading from the Kitchen is a sunny courtyard garden which faces south and comes with garden furniture and a barbeque (BBQ). A real sun trap. Private off road parking for 1 car.

Rented the cottage for a week in August. Perfect for a family of 4 - high quality appliances, spotless when we arrived and a great location in the centre of Croyde.

One tip for the owners is to get some instructions for the DVD/CD player that links into the TV systems - we couldn't fathom it out nor could the owners on the phone.

All in all, a great place to stay!

Superb

We stayed at Victoria Cottage for 1 week in June and as soon as we entered the cottage it was the 'wow' factor, beautifully decorated and very clean. Location was great. Village was just around the corner and a lovely large beach minutes away. We ate at the Thatch in the village and The Manor Inn, just up from the cottage and we had lovely meals in both. We used Croyde as a base and went to Clovelly, Ilfracome, Lynton& Lynmouth (very pretty places, worth a visit). We went to Appledore, Instow, Westward Ho. We walked the coastal path from Croyde Bay to Puttsborough Bay and continued the lenght of the beach to Woolacoombe, about 5 miles in total, quite an easy walk. Squires fish 'n' chips in Braunton is the best I have ever eaten. A wonderful holiday had by all. We would not hesitiate to book again. Thank You.

Fabulous location, fabulous cottage!

I cannot recommend this cottage enough! The accommodation is stylish, clean and extremely well equipped, you have everything you could wish for here. We were fortunate to meet the owners who were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The location is superb, in the heart of Croyde yet very private and only a short walk to the beach.

I would advise to prebook a grocery delivery from Tesco as there is only a very small grocery store in Croyde and the proprietors are not exactly helpful!

We had a fantastic few days away, good weather, i would definitely revisit........

Fantastic Place to Stay

We spent a week in September in Victoria Cottage and had an amazing week. The cottage is really peaceful yet right in the centre of Croyde (literally 2 minute walk to 3 pubs!). There is private parking (which gives you a chance to practice the reverse parking) and the cottage is done up to a really high standard which makes it feel like a home from home. The owners of the cottage were also really helpful and I was lucky enough to get a tour of the rest of the cottages while we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Home from home and more.....the cottage has been beautifully refurbished and has everything you need for a great week away. The patio area is lovely for relaxing having a drink and/or a barbecue. The location of the cottage is fantastic - central but nice and quiet as its set back from the road.
We are regular visitors to Croyde - its is a beautiful place with lots to do in and around the village and the beach is fantastic! All we needed/wanted was a bit more sun!!
