The apartment is situated in one of the most exclusive areas in Rome.. - It is a few minutes walk from the entrance to the famous Vatican Museum, the Basilica of San Pietro, and the Castle of Sant'Angelo. With one bus or underground you can visit other well-known and interesting sites, including Piazza di Spagna, the Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, Foro Romana, il Colosseum, etc. In spite of the apartment being located right in the centre of the city, the surroundings are unusually quiet and peaceful, with a front view of the walls of the Vatican and a back view overlooking a garden. At the same time it is not far from a more animated area, with many restaurants, wine bars, pubs, pizzerie, discoteques, cinema, shops, etc. You will be supplied with maps of the city. telephone numbers and addresses of various restaurants. In addition you will be provided with all the necessary items for the preparation of breakfast.

The Tiber River is also very close to the apartment and the bridges will permit visitors to see other well-known sites, i.e., Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Venezia, Colosseum. The Musei Vaticani make up the world's largest museum complex, with around a dozen self-contained museums in 1,400 rooms.However, do not miss the Capella Sistina,with its frescoes by Michelangelo. The Vatican City, an area covering about 109 acres around the Basilica of St. Peter, in the heart of Rome, is the world's smallest independent sovereign state.The Pope gives a weekly general audience on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. in the Papal Audience Chamber, and occasionally in the basilica of St. Peter or in the piazza.
