Lovely new town house in traditional village near Ronda.

A brand new three storey town house in the small traditional mountain village of Estación de Benaoján only ten minutes drive from Ronda suitable for summer holidays as well the rest of the year. The house has three twin bedroom and two bathrooms (one en-suite), a lounge diner, fully equipped kitchen (big fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine), two balconies with furniture (one at the back and one at the front), a large patio area with a table and seating for six and a single garage. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans and the ensuite bedroom downstairs is particularly cool. The communal pool is close by. Only just over an hour from Malaga, Seville and Jerez airports. Granada and Gibraltar airports under two hours away.

The village is ideally suited to visit most of Andalucia. For walkers and bird watchers, the surrounding countryside is on your doorstep. The views are spectacular. Horse riding is available near Ronda. Ronda will never fail to impress with its magnificent bridge and gorge. The views are absolutely stunning. Ronda is about a fifteen minute drive away and there are plenty of underground car parks. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as several good supermarkets. The village train goes to Ronda on route from Granada to Algeciras on the coast. It is well worth taking the train for a short trip in both directions to appreciate the full beauty of the valley or encompass a breathtaking walk with the return trip by train! For those wanting the beach, the Costa del Sol is approximately an hour away. The drive takes you through the mountains and the views are spectacular. You could also visit Seville Cordoba Granada Cadiz Gibraltar...

There are two balconies, one leading from bedroom one with a table and two chairs and fantastic mountain views and one at the back of the property with a table and four chairs. The rear balcony has sun in the morning and is sheltered, in the afternoon and evenings it is in the shade. The front terrace has a table and six chairs. The CD player in the lounge has an MP3 connector, as well as a separate MP3 docking station upstairs. There is a small selection of DVD's. The property is over three floors with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, a lounge diner and kitchen on the ground floor and the third en-suite bedroom and garage on the lower ground floor.

General

The Estacion de Benaojan is a small village down the hillside from Benaojan. It is on the edge of the Grazalema Natural Park. A beautiful, tranquil and traditional area of Spain. Jerez, Seville and Malaga airports are all within a 90 minute drive. Granada Airport is a little further away, but there is a train link direct to the village from the airport. In late July a fantastic traditional festival is held celebrating the arrival of the railway line to the village and there is an abundance of chorizo and a river of sangria flowing. The atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is welcome to join in the fun. The area is famous for its delicious chorizo sausage and this can be purchased in the village freshly made.

Locality

The area is full of wildlife. There are plenty of birds, especially the numerous Griffon vultures which soar above the valley. The forests have wild boar, donkeys, horses, sheep and goats roaming freely. Local attractions include:- Pileta Caves Ronda Setinel del las bodegas Zaraha Reservoir Cueva del Gato Many beautiful white villages and bodegas Walks along the river Guadiaro to suit all abilities.

Village

The property is one on a small development which is mainly residential. It was started in 2005 and was completed in March 2007. The village is very traditional and you will be living amongst the local Spanish residents, who are extremely friendly. Many of the locals drink in the bar at the railway station and eat at the restaurant “Bar Stop” nearby. There is a further excellent restaurant “El Muelle” as well as a tiny shop hidden away which appears to sell anything and everything! The village is ideally suited to visit most of Andalucia. For walkers and bird watchers, the surrounding countryside is on your doorstep. The views are spectacular.
