A luxury self-catering, slate holiday cottage located in the centre of Windermere, on 3 floors, with 2 lounge areas, ideal for a family, or 2 couples who like their own privacy. On the top floor is where the master bedroom is located, and opposite is a small bedroom with sofa bed and en suite shower room. On the middle floor is a cosy and beautifully decorated lounge area with traditional log burner. Also on this floor is the fully fitted kitchen, and the family bathroom. On the lower floor is a self -contained suite, which comprises of spacious double bedroom, a second lounge with sofa bed and fireplace, and a shower room with shower, WC, and wash hand basin. On this floor is the access to the courtyard, which has seating for 4 people, and BBQ for those hot summer nights. Fireside has a warm and cosy atmosphere, and couldn't be in a better location. The standard of decor is very high and no expense has been spared to ensure that customers have a memorable holiday.

A lovely cottage very well situated close to shops,restaurants and cafes.Beautifully presented and very clean,everything you need for a good holiday.We didn't need to use our car much at all,public transport very good and lots to do on the doorstep.Lynn the owner very helpful and friendly.We would recommend fireside cottage and hope to visit again ourselves.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
