This apartment is a spacious studio flat in Port Royale, overlooking the attractive fishing village of Los Cristianos. The large sun terrace has seating for 4 people, two sunbeds, and a small barbecue. Smoking is permitted on the terrace only please. There is an American kitchen with hotplate, microwave and fridge. Bathroom recently modernised with large, walk-in shower and wc. TV with satellite connection. Access to the flat from the road is achieved on one level, but the pool is on a lower level, so some steps are involved. The resort has a gardener who maintains the many and varied plant beds. There are several shady seating areas in the complex. The pool area is private to the complex, and is heated in winter. Although close to the apartment, pool noise is not heard in the apartment.

Port Royale is situated in a quiet area at the top of Los Cristianos. It offers open outlooks, yet is very close to the restaurants, bars and other attractions of the town itself. There are various supermarkets nearby for groceries, good parking, easy access to the motorway and hills. Walking, swimming, cycling are all possible, as are most water sports.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We are happy to discuss arrivals / departures on dates other than the normal Fridays. We are also happy to discuss adding days onto a booking, so 8, 9 or 10 day bookings etc will be accepted.
  • Rates are typically for two people.
    Payment can be made in British Pounds or Euros (250 Euros per Standard week, 300 Euros per Prime week).
  • Please initially contact us to confirm availability of dates. On confirmation, a 50% deposit is to be paid. The full sum would normally be paid eight weeks prior to arrival at the resort.
    Our property managers are on site six days per week to assist with any queries.

Notes: Port Royale is built at the top of a hill, and there are many sets of steps within the complex. However, our apartment can be reached by level access from the road, so is relatively suitable for wheelchair / limited mobility access.

Cleaning and Linen: The apartment is cleaned before and after every stay. Extra cleaning can be arranged at a small extra cost during longer stays. Linen is changed weekly. Our property managers are on site during the week, and are available in emergencies at all times.

Activities: There are several golf courses within 10 minutes or so drive. Tenerife has far more to offer than just the well-known coastal fringe, and offers excursions to the Jungle Park and Aquapark (free buses locally). Trips to the volcanic area of Mount Teide, and the more authentic and beautiful Spanish villages on the west coast are under two hours drive (often far less). The service buses on Tenerife are excellent, and most attractions or areas of interest can be visited by service bus or free bus without needing to hire a car.

My husband and I really enjoyed our holiday in Los Christianos last year. The apartment was exactly as described and was clean, spacious and well maintained. The bathroom was immaculate with a great shower which is essential after a busy days sun bathing! There are local shops and restaurants within wandering distance of the apartment which are really nice. I would recommend the Italian at the bottom of the Port Royal complex - great food! The apartment is in a quiet resort which is exactly as we were looking for and the pool is also very quiet as most of the families tend to be in other, larger resorts. The apartment gets the sun all afternoon and early evening and with the large balcony, is great to sit out in having a wee glass of something prior to heading out for an evening. I would recomment this property to both my family and friends and is great value for money.
Owner's Response: The apartment is in a quiet location, but as the review states is very close to many nice bars and restaurants.

Recommendations from renters for local restaurants are particularly useful, and we can fully endorse the Bella Roma as a good place to eat.

lovely studio los cristianos

My partner & I stayed at this appartment during the Xmas week of 2008. and had a wonderful time. The location was great and the appartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all the ammenities that you could wish for.
The large terrace was perfect for sun bathing and very well equipted and very peaceful.
We can recomend this appartment to any couples that are considering a holiday in Los Cristianos.
