With a covered pool, beautiful grounds, close to the beach and the many attractions of Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra, this house offers an ideal setting for a perfect holiday. It can be rented as a whole (Casa Grande), or as two apartments (Casa Geranium or Casa Jasmin). Totally refurbished in Summer 2007, our property provides you with peace and privacy amongst the beauty of unspoilt nature but with all you might want close by. The large, covered pool means the water is warm enough for you to swim from April to November; sliding doors allow you to catch a cooling breeze in the hot summer months. The extensive gardens and games area can be enjoyed all year round – as can the sauna and massages (supplement charged).

Casa Grande is a house on one floor, consisting of two apartments, each with two bedrooms and a reception room, which can combined as one unit. It is available for parties of up to 12 people; There are two patios, and a conservatory which can be accessed from the house. Guests have exclusive use of most of the grounds of the Quinta as Casa Grande is the only guest accommodation. There is ample parking.

The village of Malveira da Serra is less than five minutes walk away, with shops and good restaurants. It retains its traditional charm, and has long been sought after by wealthy Portuguese and international property owners due to the beauty of its setting, with the coast stretched out below, and the forest and mountain above. This is an ideal place for nature lovers, being in the Sintra-Cascais natural park where building is very restricted. There is good walking from the village, with an abundance of wild flowers, birds and animals. Guincho beach, world renowned for its surfing, is 3 km away. Sintra, a world heritage site with its castle, palaces and gardens set in lush vegetation and enjoying ravishing views is a lovely 15 minute drive across the mountain. The coastal resort of Cascais is 10 minutes away, where you will find superb beaches, restaurants, night-life and shopping, as well as a charming old town with rewarding site seeing. The centre of Lisbon is 30 minutes by car.

Really nice place to spend your holidays. The treatment was perfect. The place is beautiful and quiet and very close to Cascais, Sintra and Lisboa, which allows to enjoy incredible beaches, mountain, cultural visits and he night life of Cascais and Estoril. I strongly recommend you this place to spend your holidays.

We found the description of the two villas to be accurate we were a party of five so rented both Jasmin and Geranium. The properties were clean and well maintained, with large landscaped gardens on a hilly site, with views down to the coast.The only part of the site we did not like was the run down tennis court which fronts both of the villas but this was not a major issue. The covered pool was a real asset especially on windy days with the advantage of the "patio doors" being able to be fully opened on hot sunny days.The owner was on hand friendly and helpful The property is ideally situated for visiting Cascais, Sintra, Lisbon as well as the superb local beaches. Malveria da Serra itself has an excellent pattisere a good local supermarket and a bank with a "hole in the wall" all just five minutes walk. There are a few restaurants near but are 10-15 minutes walk we found them to be average, however there are plenty of excellent reastaurants in Cascais and a superb fish restaurant in near by Prae Grande. Overall we found our stay very relaxing.
