Villa Tychia is a brand new luxury villa, furnished to a very high standard. Please visit our website for further information and additional photos. The link is at the end of villa details. The villa stands in an elevated position at the end of an exclusive development of four new luxury villas, and enjoys unspoiled panoramic views of the Ionian Sea and Zakinthos to the front, and Mount Anios to the rear. It is situated amongst the olive and citrus groves of the traditional village of Pessada, Kefalonia and is within walking distance of two small bays, a small pretty harbour and the ferry to Zakinthos. The fully air-conditioned villa, furnished with comfort in mind, boasts three double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. The open plan living/dining area includes CD player, DVD player and 28' wide-screen LCD television while the modern fully fitted kitchen caters for your every need. Outside is a covered terrace, landscaped gardens, private pool and traditional Greek BBQ.

Pessada is a traditional, unspoiled village in Kefalonia which sits on the coastline of South West Kefalonia. Despite being only 15 minutes drive from the airport, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. Pessada is surrounded by natural beauty, with spectacular views of Lourdas bay to the South, the island of Zakynthos on the distant horizon, and a backdrop which is dominated by the highest peak in the Ionian, Mount Ainos. This dramatic scenery, coupled with tranquility of Kefalonian village life, make it the perfect location for a luxury villa. The small secluded bays of Pessada are within 10-15 minutes walk from the Villa. Facilities within the village are limited, although there is a very small shop and two local tavernas. Car hire is highly recommended to explore the beautiful island of Kefalonia and to visit the local supermarkets and many excellent tavernas, all within a few minutes drive of the villa. The main town of Argostoli is also just a short distance away.

  • The three bedroom villa is designed to accommodate 6 people, with two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Each has its own en suite shower-room, the twin room having a shower above a full sized bath. The first floor bedrooms lead to a spacious balcony, overlooking the pool, from where beautiful views of the Ionian Sea and olive groves can be enjoyed. The third bedroom, is situated on the ground floor and features patio doors which lead directly to the pool and garden area. The individually styled bedrooms are furnished with solid oak beds, bedside tables, and a dressing table, while the soft furnishings give each it's own character. Linen, bath towels and hairdryers are provided. Pool towels are not provided.

We have spent beyond doubt a wonderful week in Villa Tychia. Villa Tychia is by far the best Villa we have ever stayed at, quiet & luxurious incorporating all the mod cons required to make life easy. Great views during the day & truly amazing sunsets by the pool at night. We explored the Island by hired car as much as we could in our limited time on the Island. The mountain road that takes you to the little village of Assos is completly breathtaking and not to be missed! The Castle we feel is worth a visit, just for the views alone & the taverna located at the entrance to the Castle is a must, lovely food & a very warm welcome - and yes again, unbelievable views. Argostoli is great for shopping & eating. Can't specify one specific beach to visit because they really are all stunning. We found the whole Island to be safe. To sum up without a doubt the most relaxing holiday we have enjoyed to date & hope to return enabling us to explore more of the Island. One week was simply not enought time - stay for two (we will next time). Ann & Mark (October 2009)

One of the comments one of the "gang" made was how clean and tidy everywhere was on the Island, this was carried on through the front door of the villa. Although it was the end of October the weather was still very pleasant. And warm enough to go for a swim in the pool and the med. One week was not enough time to explore the whole Island, so I think a return visit is definitely on the cards in the near future.

The whole experience in Kefalonia was amazing. The island is absolutely beautiful. It was made even better when we arrived at our villa. The thought and detail that had gone into the accommodation was outstanding. Your every need was catered for. The pool and views out to sea breath taking.

Luxury Villa Tychia in Beautiful Setting

Set in a perfect, tranquil location with views over the Ionian sea to the Island of Zante. In the morning you can watch the sun rise over Mount Ainos from the side of the first floor balcony. This villa comprises excellent family -sized living accomodation, with extremely high quality fixtures and fittings. I particularly enjoyed preparing meals in the big kitchen. The pool area is very peaceful and well laid out. It is surrounded by well tended, pretty gardens to the front and rear. There's a swing to the side of the villa and a wonderful BBQ area. There is also a covered veranda that makes dining al fresco a total pleasure. This Villa has everything you could possibly need to make your holiday complete.The owners were extremely friendly and helpful in providing plenty of information relating to car hire, to recommending places of interest and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend this amazing Villa. Kefalonia is one of the few remaining unspoiled, authentic Greek Islands and a perfect place for a relaxing and most enjoyable holiday. There are many idylic coves and beaches with crystal clear waters just perfect for snorkelling and swimming. Watching the huge Turtles in the Harbour at Argostoli, being fed by the local fishermen was definately one of the highlights of our stay. Along side our visit to Myrtos Beach where some of the filming of Captain Corelli's Mandolin took place. A car is a must if you want to see all the lovely sites but for us, a week was just not enough. We will definately be returning to this wonderful Island and would love to stay in Villa Tychia again. A special thank you to the owners for everything - what a Fantastic Villa in a superb setting.

Great villa and location

Fantastic! Our first trip to the island and one of our best family holidays. We have been disappointed in the past when holiday villas and hotels look much nicer than the reality but your villa is exactly as we imagined - if not better. The management team were very friendly and helpful. The information left in the villa was very comprehensive and our teenage daughters were very impressed with the CD selection! This is a perfect place to relax, unwind and soak up the sun and we will be recommending this superb villa to all our friends.
Owner's Response: Thank you. We have really tried to make Villa Tychia a 'home from home'. We too, have had disappointing accommodation on holidays and we truly believe that anyone who rents our villa will not be disappointed.
