Property Details
From the dinning room you can walk out on to the covered terrace, take a seat, relax and enjoy an alfresco lunch of lobster or the catch of the day, prepared and cooked on the BBQ (if requested) by caterers from local restaurants, while watching the boats sail by. A complementary glass of local port from the ships decanter should help you and your guests unwind into your holiday
LOUNGE:
Lounge
As you walk through the doors of Villa Vale Da Pinta you enter the hall with guest cloakroom, overlooking the large, light and spacious lounge. A few stairs lead down to the covered outside terraced area with the pool, landscaped gardens, a games room, sun bathing deck and of course stunning views. Families have been well catered for with the provision of a Bang & Olufsen TV with integrated DVD and CD player. A Play Station 2 has been provided for younger members of the party (although guests are asked to provide their own games). Children are always welcome but the owners would like to point out that a lot of the furniture is bespoke and supervision is required. A library of books, DVDs and Cd's are available to guests.

Pool
Villa Vale Da Pinta benefits from the fact that all rooms have access to the terrace surrounding the villa. This leads you round onto the beautifully manicured private gardens and pool area. The swimming pool is kidney shaped, complete with water feature and is heated to 28 degrees. It features wide steps for younger children to play on and for the more adventurous there is a fun jump board!
Following the path round to the bottom of the garden you shall be surprised to find a more private sun bathing area and the games cave. A full size table tennis table and pool toys should keep the children out of mischief, both large and small!
As the sun goes down on a warm summer’s evening, the villa takes on a new mantle. The light softens and turns to those warm subtle colours associated with Mediterranean climes. With scents amplified, coupled with the sound of crickets starting their night time calls, this is the perfect place to relax and allow your senses to take over
Golf:
PINTA Estombar Carvoeiro 18 hole par 71
This is a well laid out and interesting course just a few minutes drive from Villa Vale Da Pinta. Set in a truly Algarve landscape with almond, olive and carob trees decorating the course that rolls through small valleys and hills. Some of the olive trees are reputed to be in the region of 1,500 years old. The holes that deserve a special mention are the par-3 tenth and the par-5 thirteenth. The former has a large bunker defending the green against your shot, the latter, winds through a valley for 541 meters.
GRAMACHO Estombar Carvoeiro 18 hole par 72
This was originally a nine hole course which has been extended and cleverly redesigned to become a fully fledged 18 hole course. A formidable challenge to its designer! The course covers undulating terrain with olive, almond and carob trees planted years before by the local farmers. The course has been designed for the player to be technically accurate and to know which club to choose before hitting the ball - anything less will quickly increase his score!
PENINA CHAMPIONSHIP Portimao 18 hole par 73
This grandfather of courses in the Algarve and a permanent living memory to its architect and active promoter, Sir Henry Cotton. Originally paddy fields for rice growing have been converted into a flat and challenging course, especially for the stronger player. Half a million shrubs and trees were planted in the conversion. Its fairways are flat.
