Goldfinch Cottage:
Goldfinch is a 4 bedroom cottage. The ground floor consists of the living room which opens into a covered terrace. The dining area is closer to a large kitchen equipped with refrigerator, 4 burner cooking hob, micro oven, toaster, kettle, all cooking utensils and crockery. Adjacent to the living room is the air-conditioned en-suite bedroom having double bed with elegant wrought iron furniture, opening into a large, extravagant terrace. An additional bathroom with a bath and an enclosed utility room are on either side of the stairway that leads to the upper level.
The stairway opens into a large family room with TV and comfortable seating providing a frontal view of the complex from the open terrace attached to it. On this floor, there are three air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms with double beds, two of which have large balconies and the third leads out into an open terrace all offering magnificent, serene views of the country side. The bathrooms have a screened shower cabin.
Sandpiper Garden Villa:
Sandpiper is a one bedroom garden villa. The villa has one air-conditioned en-suite bedroom having double bed, living and a kitchenette with refrigerator, cooking gas, micro, toaster, kettle and cooking utensils and crockery. It is the most private villa in the complex, hidden away by very generous and lush gardens offering absolute quietness and seclusion. It boasts of true outdoor living space. The covered veranda is large with Goan and modern seating and ample space for dining and living. The brilliant exposure to the lush greenery overwhelms you with its pristine natural surroundings.
The en-suite bathroom has a separate screened shower cubicle. All doors and windows are screened off to protect from mosquitoes. One can enjoy the beautiful landscaping from the bedroom as well as the living. The villa boasts an idyllic setting that feels secluded without being remote. One can spend hours just relaxing or reading in the veranda.
Chorao Island:
Chorao island has small shops selling daily esentials etc. and many local taverns. Besides the restaurant in the complex the island has a local Goan food open style restaurant. The island has banks, schools, junior colleges, a post office, Government health clinic (open during the day) a police outpost and many bakeries.
There are two sluice dams and some prawn farms and if one is cooking, arrangements can be made for the supply of fresh prawns and fish.
There is the famous Dr. Salim Ali's Bird Sanctuary and there are guides and boats to take you on an early morning bird watching tour.
The island has the remains of a Jesuit Seminary of the 15th century. There is a statue of Christ the King on the highest point on the island which gives you a birds eye view of the surroundings. There three major churches and temples. Every village has its own chapel and a small temple. One can explore the island by going for long walks or by cycling and the village folks are very friendly.
