Boavista Golf Resort is one of the Algarve's newest coastal golf courses on the western Algarve. 40 minutes drive from Faro airport and 5 minutes from the cosmopolitan town of Lagos offering many shops and restaurants and organised boat trips to see the caves and dolphins. An ideal holiday destination for families, couples and keen golfers. There are many local beach bars and restaurants in addition to the newly opened club house with bar and restaurant facilities. There is a host of fantastic sandy beaches all within easy reach of the resort.

Golf: Boavista Golf course opened in 2002. The impressive 18 hole championship course was designed by Howard Swan MSc. With two distinctive sections the course offers a variety of holes beginning with the welcoming 1st hole, a meandering downhill par 4. The signature hole on the outward nine is the stunning par 4 7th set against a backdrop of the Atlantic ocean with panoramic views extending from Praia da Luz round to the hills at Monchique In addition to the 18 hole course there is also a driving range, pitching and chippng areas, practice bunkers, putting greens and teaching academy.

Relax and enjoy the Algarve

The discription of the apartment was spot on, it had everything described and more - the view was wonderful.

The resort, golf course, pool and surrounding gardens are very well kept and the whole place was very clean and tidy.

Boavista resort is really family friendly and is ideally situated for exploring the eastern Algarve.

The holiday was really enjoyable and relaxing and I would be happy to recommend this apartment to both friend and family. We would be more than happy to go back again in the future.
