Luxury Beachfront Townhouse with Sea Views

Located more or less right on the beach in the old charming fishing village Ferragudo, this privately owned property leaves nothing to be desired. Tastefully and comfortably decorated, you will enjoy yourself both in-door and out-door while staying here. The property is situated on a hillside overlooking the golden beaches and the recently renovated 17th century São João do Arade Castle along with the colourful marina of neighbouring Portimão. The beach is a two minute walk away and there is a heated pool within the complex. Shops and restaurants are within very short walking distance whether you prefer dining in the picturesque town centre or in one of many beach restaurants. There is also a bar/snack bar by the pool. This is a luxury holiday accommodation in close proximity to all popular holiday activities.

Unspoilt algarve village townhouse

We loved this townhouse. It was spacious, bright and welcoming and obviously well looked after. It is really well laid out with three different outside spaces which catch the sun at different times of the day. The complex is beautifully maintained and best of all, really peaceful! As it is privately owned there is no maid service, but there is a washing machine for cleaning towels etc.One tiny niggle was that the kitchen could have been a little better equipped with cooking utensils, but thats the only negative. The village is about a ten minute walk away through really pretty whitewashed cobbled streets, and has a handful of small restaurants and bars, pretty quiet in general so not the place for a rowdy holiday but perfect for a peaceful getaway. O Barril restaurant has really reasonably priced portuguese food, the pizzeria is good with lovely staff, the two fish places on the port can be pricey, and it seems in one of these ,O Soueste, unless you are a celebrity or footballer you get ignored! A car is by no means essential but gives you a lot more options for shopping and eating out. I would definitely recommend this property and location to anyone looking for a quiet break in an unspoilt location, or perhaps a base for a golfing holiday. It is also within an hour of fantastic surfing beaches in the beautiful western Algarve.
