The apartment is located on the 1st floor with lift access, with a large balcony overlooking the village church and provides magnificent views of the resort and surrounding mountains. The third bedroom is set up for entertainment and provides a sanctuary for children leaving adults to relax. It has its own ski locker room and garage. The apartment is wheelchair accessible and provides a superb base for independent mono skiers and family/friends. Adaptive ski instruction is available locally. Summer Sports - Lifts are open in July and August for mountain biking, parascending, horse riding and walking

Chatel is a rare example of a traditional French Alpine village. Great care has been taken to maintain its charm and character. Based in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski circuit, it provides easy access to neighbouring resorts including Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets and Morgins. Skiing is available from the Super Chatel gondala (3 minutes walk) and direct access to the high altitude resort of Avoriaz from Pre le Joux. Summer Activities - Lifts are open in July and August for walkers and mountain bikers with extensive (but separate) trails for both groups. Other summer activities include rafting, horse riding, tennis tree walks and parascending. Transfers from Geneva are available on request. Driving from the Channel Tunnel takes between 8-10 hours with motorway all the way to Geneva.

Wheelchair Accessibility

This apartment has been designed to be wheelchair accessible. It has an underground carpark on the same level as the apartment, a communal lift and a disabled parking space directly beneath the balcony allowing easy covered access to the building.

It is suitable for a family with a disabled member or for independent mono skiers and friends. Local English ski instruction is available from the Avoriaz Alpine Ski School, equipment is also available for rent on request.
