Luxury villa with private pool set on the beautiful Koycegiz lake. Three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is also a double bed settee. The property is fully air conditioned and has stereo, television, DVD. A fully equipped kitchen and an outside barbecue area. There are mountain views to the back of the property and lake views to the front. Sultani spa with its thermal sulphur pools is set on the lake and be assessed by boat or car. Boat trips run daily to the spa and to turtle beach, stopping at the tomb of the kings, and can be picked up from the lake area. There are cafes and bars situated along the lake and also a beach at the far end. The village of Koycegiz has a Monday market and people visit from Dalyan and the surrounding areas. Dalyan is the nearest tourist area and can be reached by boat or car. The Haman which is famous for Turkish massage is situated in Ortaca which is 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by dolmus which is the local transport and air conditioned.

Nearest Airport: Dalaman at 30 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
30km from Dalaman airport. Sultaniye health spa and Turtle beach are main attractions. Koycegiz is situated near the National Park and it is a haven for bird watchers. The Koycegiz lake is where they filmed the African Queen. There is a Monday market which takes over most of the village and it is like stepping back in time. Marmaris, Olu Deniz, Fethiye and Icmeler are all under an hours drive. The Dolmus bus is air conditioned and cheap to use. Daily boat trips run out of Koycegiz to Turtle beach passing the tombs of the kings and stopping at Sultaniye health spa all for the sum of £4.00, lunch included. Eating out is also very cheap usually about £7.00 for a three course dinner. The Thera restaurant featured in the lonely planet guide is next door to the villa. Local restaurants are spotted along the side of the lake. You can swim, sail, windsurf or fish on the lake, for the more adventurous there is diving or white water rafting. Special offer of 50 lire a day car hire with villa.

Great relaxing holiday

We enjoyed the holiday very much, the area is quiet, lots of places to eat out.

The Villa and Pool were clean, no issues at all. We also thought the Taxi guy pre-arranged was very good and punctual.

Also you find at least 3 ATM Cash machines withn a short walk.
Owner's Response: The feedback from my first year of rentals has been amazing. I have used my villa as a holiday home for my family for the past six years and we have enjoyed every minute. Its a trip back in time to visit this village and the amazing local family of Bulent Belli who look after my villa enrich the stay of my guests.

Myself & my disabled wife spent 2 weeks at the villa in early may. It was very relaxing & like stepping back in time. The villa is on the lakeside and very close to all the shops & restaurants. Standard of the villa was good & the local cleaning lady was very friendly.
