Please note that the owners also run Villa Tukad (see prop. no. 58274) A two-centre holiday can be arranged giving you the perfect introduction to Bali. If you need the beach, it is only 45 minutes drive to Lovina on the North coast, which has safe bathing and dolphins. The cabin has two double bedrooms (one en suite) and one single and can easily accommodate five.

This unique and well-appointed villa is located in a small eco-friendly resort in the Lake District of central Bali. There are three main lakes at Bedugul, and at lake of Bratan, immediately below the cabin, is one of the island's three most important temples. Located in the middle of the island, Bedugul is about one hour's drive from the airport and within one hour of everywhere else in Bali (Ubud, Seminyak, Lovina, Sanur, Nusa Dua etc.). The air is fresh and sometimes cool - an ideal alternative to the beach resorts. Why not take a two-centre holiday with a week here and a week in our other villa at Tumbuk Bayuh (property 58274). Bedugul is famous for year-round fruit, vegetable and spice-growing. Get supplies direct from farmers or the bustling market. Bedugul also has Botanical Gardens, the Gitgit waterfall and the lakes which provide opportunity for jet skiing, and other water sports as well as more gentle pursuits such as trekking and cycling.

nous avons reçu un acceuil chaleureux par Kiki qui venait d'avoir eu un accident avec sa voiture et avait malgré tout réussi à etre à l'heure au rendez vous avec de belles fleurs et une corbeille de fruit. Nous remercions également Ketut et sa femme pour leur gentillesse, ils nous ont cocooner pour les repas (ramenés du café Lempuna). Vous devez prévoir un vehicule pour la journée car vous êtes isolés mais comme c'est bon!!! Les fraise sont excellentes et les enfants ont adoré le Bali Tree Top

Owner's Response: Driving in Bali - this is the first time we heard of a guest having a traffic accident and it didn't sound too serious. But driving yourself is not recommended if you are not familiar with driving in Asia. Patience is the main thing and expect the unexpected. At road junctions few people follow the usual rules, and motorbikes can be on the wrong side of the road or cutting across in front of you. If you stay calm and drive slowly without sudden moves it is ok. Self-drive car hire is available in Bedugul, or for a more relaxing holiday we can arrange a car with driver.

Gorgeous cabin overlooking the lake

This is a gorgeous cabin, fully equipped with all the home comforts you could need, with a stunning view of the lake. A truly tranquil spot, and a welcome getaway from the heat of southern Bali. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and we wish it had been longer! We loved the house, the gardens, the glorious view, the peace and solitude and the temperate weather! I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. There are several places to visit quite nearby and the staff were very helpful and charming.

Ein wunderschönes Haus zum Entspannen! Und ein toller Blick vom Balkon.
Hier findet man Ruhe in einer touristisch wenig erschlossenen Gegend und kann mit dem Auto schöne Touren unternehmen. Das Haus ist bestens eingerichtet. Restaurants gibt es wenige, aber dafür einige Märkte auf denen man fast alles findet, vor allem frisches Obst und Gemüse, sowie Fisch. Bestens für alle, die auch gern mal selbst kochen.
Wir können es nur empfehlen und waren begeistert. Zu beachten ist allerdings, dass es in den Bergen liegt und besonders in der Regenzeit, kann es Abends kühl werden, also lange Hose und Pullover nicht vergessen. Regenschirm empfiehlt sich ebenfalls, auch wenn der meißt nur kurz zum Einsatz kommt.
