The villa is an attractive and ideally designed holiday home offering magnificent views of the blue Mediterranean to the front and the Kyrenia mountain range to the rear. It is built to a high specification by the island’s premier construction company and was completed in summer 2007 on a large 800 square metre plot. The villa benefits from a private 10m x 5m overflow swimming pool and is ideally located for both beach/pool side holidays as well as a more active type holiday. The villa has a fully equipped modern kitchen, high standard finish throughout, a child friendly ground floor terrace and a further terrace on the first floor overlooking the pool and sea to the front and the panoramic Besparmac mountains to the rear.

Set near local amenities and the village of Lapta, the villa is also ideally situated for exploring the unspoilt coastal and mountain scenery on the island. The town of Kyrenia is a 20 minutes drive away and its beautiful historic harbour offers a wide choice of lively bars and restaurants. A 4 minute drive will take you to a lovely sandy beach with a friendly taverna-type restaurant set on the waterfront. Shops, supermarkets and restaurants are all within a 5 minute drive. For a wider range of day time activities the LA Hotel, with its large sandy cove, ?s only 3 km away and the Camelot, Den?zhan and Escape Beach Resorts are just a short drive away (5-8km). A new aquapark (Lepothos Aquapark) has just opened w?th?n 5km of the house. There are several well stocked supermarkets within easy reach and a corner shop close by. A number of fine restaurants are to be found in the locality and many more in Kyrenia and the beautiful mountainside village of Bellapais.

  • All prices quoted are per villa per week and not per person. A 25% deposit is payable on booking with remaining balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. A £100 returnable deposit is required against breakages or excess electricity usage. Bookings made within the 8 week period must be paid in full. In cases of cancellation deposits are non-returnable. Last minute or late availability bookings may be available with discounts - check availability chart, then contact the owners. Airport transfer can be arranged – please request details from the owner. Car hire can also be arranged by the owner – please note that there are currently no car rental companies operating at Ercan airport.

  • The comfortable bedrooms have been furnished with handcrafted beds and tables and have been tastefully decorated. They all have ample built-in wardrobes and drawer storage space. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and triple aspect views, whilst the other 2 bedrooms enjoy sea and pool/garden views. There are air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms, plus gas fired central heating for the cooler winter months if required. The villa was designed as a four bedroom property, but the fourth bedroom has been converted into a spacious dining room. However, the lounge includes a large double sofa bed for additional bed space.

Arrival: Ercan airport is more conveniently located and accessible from a number of UK airports (Manchester, Stansted amongst others). We can arrange for a taxi to meet you at Ercan (25 pounds sterling or free with 7 days or more car hire) and bring you to the villa. Larnaca airport in the south offers a wider range of fares and flights arriving from the UK. There are regular special offers on flights which make the taxi fare from Larnaca (currently 40 pounds sterling) to the villa worthwhile. Our managing agent will meet with you at the villa and answer any queries you may have. There will also be a welcome pack of essentials waiting for you. You will find information on use of equipment in the villa and some recommended restaurants.

Local area: The villa is only a short walk from the main road, and small buses travel frequently into Kyrenia and beyond. For exploring North Cyprus however, a car is essential. There are a number of car hire companies available to you, but if you so wish, we can arrange for a competitively priced car hire during your stay. 7 days or more hire and you qualify for free transfers to and from Ercan airport if that is your destination. Just contact us for details. Please note that at the moment there are no car hire facilities at Ercan airport and car hire is very difficult to arrange from Larnaca due to insurance problems.

Further information: Northern Cyprus is blessed with the most pleasing climate in the whole of Europe. The winters are mild, and rarely extend beyond February, and with over 300 days of sunshine a year the temperatures can reach 70F as early as March. In April and May Northern Cyprus is at its most beautiful with fields of wild flowers in full bloom. June, July and August are the hottest months and are ideal for sun worshippers. September and October are the most popular months when the weather is still warm (rarely below 80F) but the evening are pleasantly cooler. Northern Cyprus is very safe. The people are warm and welcoming and English is widely spoken. Sterling is accepted in shops and restaurants and driving is on the left.

Other Activities: A brand new (3 months old) aquapark (Lepothos Aquapark) has just opened and ?s s?tuated just 5km from the house.

My lovely partner and I have recently returned from a stay at this villa. We had an excellent time, the villa is extremely well equipped, very spacious and in a good location. There are great views of the mountains from the front and stunning views of the sea from the terrace and pool at the back. The pool is great, very well maintained and great for cooling off when you are starting to sizzle. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Cyprus.

A WONDEFUL HOLIDAY

I can highly recommend the villa for perfect relaxation. The views are breathtaking and it is a place where you can totally unwind. The villa was well equipped and although car hire is advisable, the restaurants are 5 mins drive away. Lapta itself has many restaurants to suit all tastes. I have children who are very fussy eaters yet every restaurant we visited managed to accommodate them even cooking dishes that weren't on the menu. Although direct access to the beach is limited there are several beach clubs who, for a minimal fee, supply loungers, wc facilities and beach bars. There are 2 aqua parks within 10 mins drive both of which we visited and a drive to the 'pan handle' is a must. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and truly did not want to leave. We will certainly be returning and we are secretly hoping that Karen and Steven will permit long weekend breaks so that we can just 'escape' for a few days.

Fabulous Villa in a relaxing location!

My Wife and I stayed at the villa for ten days in October last year (2008) and we couldn't recommend it enough. The villa was light, spacious and equiped with all the home comforts you would expect, plus more and the location was just what we wanted, quiet and relaxed but close enough to all that this area has to offer.
The owners not only supplied us with an extremely useful information pack about the villa and the local shops,restaurants,beaches etc but they also organised our car hire and airport transfers which was very helpful.
I would definitely recommend this villa to a friend and both my wife and I would love to go back.

A must have holiday!!!

I would definitely recommend this as a holiday destination. The villa is stunning and all of its facilities were superb. The property was spotless and well maintained. The brochure at the villa was extremely helpful with lots of tips on places to vist as well as excellent restaurants - all of which we tried. Having breakfast on the verranda, basking in the sun with lavish views of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other was unforgettable. The aquapark was a 5 min drive from the villa, which the kids loved. There are also some great beaches close by with lots of facilities. The local people are extremely friendly and there are so many wonderful restaurants to try. With a combination of luxurious accommodation and fantastic resort, we loved it so much that we have been back twice since our first visit.

What a fantastic holiday!

This villa was absolutely superb! Very spacious and super clean. The views were spectacular with mountains at the back and the sea to the front. We could hardly tear ourselves away from the Terrace! It was within a few kilometres of some really nice restaurants, bars and beaches. Karen and Stephen have really thought of everything to make sure that your experience at their villa is one to remember. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa to our friends and we will certainly be going back in the future.
