Lovely Villa

We were impressed by this villa and apart from a couple of minor things would have awarded a "5 excellent" rating.
The most positive aspect of this villa is the outdoor areas - the open and covered terraces and pool are excellent, incorporating plenty of sunbeds, a very nice dining set and a very comfortable sofa, table and chairs. The provision of plenty of non-glass plates, tumblers, etc was appreciated with children around. Also, the pool and terraces all being on one level is very safe and convenient.
The bedrooms were a little on the small size but again came with everything needed. The open plan livingroom, kitchen and dining area were nicely laid out and furnished. The only negative would be that It could become hot in these rooms and although there were air-conditioning units in each bedroom there was none in the living areas. We did ask but were told a fan could not be provided.
We would just mention that, although this villa was advertised as within walking distance to town and beach, it was a good 20 minutes walk and up a very long hill on the return journey - younger children and older or less fit people would find it a challenge, especially in the heat. However, it was a very easy, quick drive down to the beach or town and easy to park once there.
Despite the minor issues we have commented on we all really enjoyed this villa and, with the provision of a fan or air-conditioning for the main living areas, would return to it ourselves and recommend it to friends.
Moraira and its beaches were lovely and well kept. There is a very good selection of restaurants ranging from pizza places to some very stylish establishments and including some enticing ice-cream parlours! All in all a great place for a family holiday.
