Our house lies in Sant'Anna, a little outline ward of Tambre (922 a.s.l.)(Belluno province). It's a village which stretches into an area of woods and meadows, which sweetly thin out, downhill, towards Lake Santa Croce and, above, towards Foresta del Cansiglio. The well-known ski resorts of Cortina D'Ampezzo and Misurina are just one hour drive far from the house. Easily reachable by train, bus or by car Heated (24°C) swimming pool is at disposal of the clients from June to September.

ALPAGO is a valley which has a form of amphitheatre, which sweetly slopes down to Lake Santa Croce, East of Belluno. The area is rich in beeches and fir-trees. From the property you can walk to Monte Cavallo or to Monte Pizzoc to enjoy the beautiful sight of the valley. Enter the Forest of Cansiglio, which was exploited already in 1400 by the Republic of Venice toi build the oars for the powerful navy. In winter there are small plants for skiing. Or you can go to Santa Croce Lake to practice acquatic sports .

GUEST BOOK: 'Maison très agréable, très calme, Le village est un peu isolé, sur les hauteurs, entouré de forêts... à 1h15 de voiture de Venise et 1h30 des plus beaux sommets des Dolomites.' 'Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig und stilvoll eingerichtet entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Der Pool ist äußerst gepflegt und sehr hygenisch, sauber (Tägl.Wasserkontrolle vor Ort).Die Umgebung ist ruhig und zum Entspannen genau richtig. Man kann einfache bis anspruchsvolle Bergtouren oder Mountenbiketouren unternehmen. Es gibt weiterhin sehenswerte Städte und Kirchen in der näheren Umgebung (Auto erforderlich).Tagesausflüge ans Meer oder Venedig. Fr. P. ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie spricht sehr gut deutsch und kann viele Unternehmungstipps, Restaurants geben. Für Familien mit Kindern sehr geeignet, da ein großer Gartenbereich zu Verfügung steht. Wir hatten einen entspannten, ruhigen wunderschönen Urlaub und werden jederzeit wieder in diesem Appartment Urlaub verbringen, und bedanken uns nochmals .

We stayed about 1 month: the house is well furnished and able to support tourist for long stay, also with a small baby. The place is calm but sufficiently near to highways for Venice or Dolomiti.
Owner's Response: Thanks to this young and nice family. I was pleased to have them here in my property in the mountains.

The location / house was better and bigger then the pictures showed.
the property was clean, and the swimmingpool was very well maintained.
The customer service was excelent.
We would recommend this property to a friend.
For walking it is an excellent area,and the restaurants we tried were okay.
