Calpe was once a small fishing village, over the last 30 years it has now become very popular with tourist. Lovely beaches and long promenades and many bars and superb fish restaurants in the port area. for those you feel ore energetic you cam climb the penon de ifach rock which is seen along the coast line or venture to the tunnel along the winding path just to see the spectacular views. Calpe offers a good central location for which to visit the many places of interest along the coast. Pretty in land villages, coastal towns of which is Moraira the nearest and well worth a visit.
