Charming rustic Finca, close to the white mountain village Frigiliana
The finca is situated in very quiet surroundings. When you wake up in the morning you can enjoy the views of the blue Mediterranean from your bedroom! From the large terrace outside the other bedroom you have breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. Here you can relax on a warm summer evening and feel the peace fill your body and soul. This finca is located approx 10 minutes drive from the white mountain village Frigiliana and 20 min drive to Nerja with its nice beaches. It has a charming rustic kitchen where you get the feel for real Spain. On hot summer days you can find shade in the patio situated outside the kitchen. At the end of the patio is the lovely pool and shower where you can chill off after a hike in the mountains or a day at the beach. On the patio you also have a barbecue for relaxing evenings. The village Frigiliana is called ”La villa de las Tres Culturas”, since here both Christians, Muslims and Jews lived together peacefully, something that seems unthinkable for many nowadays. The village is located right by the Nature Parks Sierras de Almijara, Tejeda and Alham, and at the same time is has great views of the Mediterranean sea and Nerja. Frigiliana has 2.500 inhabitants and is situated approximately 300 meters above the sea. It only takes about 10 min. by car to visit the coast and its sandy beaches. The mountains around the village are perfect for hiking and you can find maps at the local tourist office. The town is very old and silk, olive oil, raisins, figs and almonds have been produced here some hundreds of years ago. Frigiliana is also known for its tasty, local olive oil and special wine. You can shop in the various boutiques that sell hand crafts, made of glass, ceramics, leather etc. and find many special gifts to bring home.
