Eshott Hall Estate Cottages are located within the grounds of Eshott Hall, a small historic country estate, set in the splendid border county of Northumberland, close to the Heritage Coastline, and near the Cheviot Hills and National Park. One of the county's most beautiful 17th Century houses, Eshott Hall itself sits in tranquil rolling lawns surrounded by ancient woodland. The Hall is a 5* Gold Visit Britain and Michelin Listed Facility. Tennis court available by arrangement with coaching if required. For the walker, a generous network of public footpaths radiates from the Estate with Felton Village only 3 miles across the fields. Alnwick Garden, the Cheviot Hills, the unspoiled coastline and its castles are all nearby. The property was used as a Stable set by Jack Davenport, Rupert Penry Jones, Juliet Aubrey during filming of Catherine Cookson's 'The Moth.' Lovely setting with red squirrels on the doorstep. Beautifully presented property with everything required.
Stable West Cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) not 3 bedrooms as this site advertises. 3 bed property now available also.
Ideally placed for easy access North (Bamburgh, Alnwick, Lindisfarne, Edinburgh, Hadrian's Wall, etc) and South (Morpeth, Newcastle, Durham) and close to wonderful beaches (Druridge ca 3miles).
Extremely unspoilt county. Stunning beaches. More culture/history that you can cover in 2 weeks!
Wonderful people at Eshott Hall and in Northumberland. Like stepping back in time - in a very positive way.
Highly recommend the property and the area - suitable for everyone with so much to see and do or just to relax in beautiful countryside/on beaches.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
