Villa -Anne -Marie is located in Bout de Lac(end of the lake) 20km from the town centre of Annecy with all its interesting shops medieval streets and bustling markets. Often called the Venice of the alps as the waterways meander through many of the old streets. There are lots of places of interest , like the old chateau, museums and galleries. The town is very close to the lake and surrounded by lovely green parks, swimming areas and places to hire all kinds of boats, take a lovely tour on one of the trips or simply relax and take in the stunning views. Bout de lac has a lovely port, tennis courts, cycle hire and lots more, an ideal base to explore the beautiful surrounds within easy reach of all local amentities and with lots going on in the small villages around, summer markets, concerts and village fetes just a few of them. The lake has lovely swimming and sun bathing areas with life guard facilites. There are also several restaurants and cafes close by.
