This modern, luxury apartment is situated in the beautiful village of Luz. The sandy beach, restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance (10 minutes). There are 4 major golf courses within a 20 minute drive. St James has communal pools plus a shop, bar/restaurant and children's play area. The apartment has 2 bathrooms, 2 private balconies, a fully equipped kitchen, air con/heating and English TV channels. A perfect apartment to enjoy a relaxing break in the sun!

Praia da Luz has a lovely blue flag beach just 5 mins from the apartment and many other beaches are a short drive away. There are many golf courses nearby. The Boavista course is only 5 min drive from the apartment. At Budens, the Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort is only 15 minutes drive. It offers a very attractive complex set in low foothills. The famous Palmares golf course which is a 15 mins drive, which has 5 unique links holes along the back of the dunes. The apartment is appoximately 50 minutes drive from Faro airport. Car hire is readily available from Faro and taxis or car hire can be arranged on request. There is a taxi rank a 5 minute walk from the apartment and buses run regularly to the larger town of Lagos. All the local amenities are within easy walking distance to the apartment. The resort is 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of the picturesque village of Praia da Luz with it's pretty beach, local supermarkets and range of shops, cafés and restaurants.

Notes: There are two flights of stairs leading up to the apartment so it may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems. Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: All linen and towels are provided and maid service is once a week. Please bring your own beach towels. The apartment has air-con in both bedrooms and living room. This also acts as heating during the winter months. As the development is still brand new there is a small amount of building work being carried out but this does not affect this apartment or the pool areas. A travel cot, high chair or extra bed can be hired through our management company at a small extra cost.

Excellent Place to Experience the Algarve

We stayed for a week and wished we had a month. Luz is a wonderful quiet village with a super beach and a couple great Golf Clubs close by. Resorthoppa bus gives quick inexpensive access from Faro Airport. Bus to Lagos provides for shopping and additional night life. This place has it all, nice pool, restaurants, access to the west coast surfing beaches, etc. A must stay!

We had a wonderful break in Luz. The apartment was beautiful (everything looked brand new!) and very spacious. It's location was fantastic - a few minutes away from all the restaurants and the beach. The St James Apartment facilities are great - the kids loved the pool area.

The cliff walk to the nearby village of Burgau is idyllic and the sea front cafes there are well worth a visit.

We went to Lagos (5-10min bus journey from Luz) for a couple of nights out - the bars and restaurants there are very lively. It was always great to get back to Luz though, it's such a breautiful spot.

We rented a car for the second week and found the driving easy.

I would definitely recommend this apartment and location to anyone and we'll be back ourselves soon.
