They are situated on the ground, first and second floor of an exclusive, elegant and very quiet building (construction year 1900 - completely restructured in 2002) and were completely refurbished in July 2005, August 2007 and May 2008. The apartment is composed of a kitchen with dish washing machine, microwave, stove, fridge, electric coffee machine, toaster and dining table with four chairs. The two separate and independent bedrooms are furnished with a double-bed (160-200cm), a clothes closet and a bank. In the larger one there are a TV, DVD and a balcony with a table sitting 4. The bathroom is modern with a whirlpool bathtub, a wash-basin with ample shelf-space and a large mirror, WC, and washing machine.

Though being very central, this area is quiet and safe, ideal for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The underground (S-Bahn) station of Friedenau (Line 1) is 350m away from the apartment and in easy walking distance (Cranachstrasse corner of Dürerplatz). The Potsdamerplatz is reachable in 5 stops, Unter den Linden and the Brandeburger Tor are just 6 stops away, Friedrichstrasse and Museum Insel are 7 stops away. The bus stop (bus 187) is in front of the entrance door. Cultural sites and the main shopping areas of the city are within short distances and easily reachable. Tourist information
Due to the recent history Berlin is a city with two city centres. The centre of the old West-Berlin is the Kurfuerstendamm (Ku-Damm) with the Gedaechtniskirche and the world renowned shopping area (Schoeneberg-Charlottenburg). The centre of old East Berlin (Mitte-Prenzlauer Berg) spreads from the Brandenburger Tor to the Museumsinsel. Walking down Unter den Linden you'll pass the Neue Wache, the Berliner Dom and arrive to the Alexanderplatz and the very interesting Nikolai Viertel.
Bus tickets and abonaments
It's very easy to visit Berlin by bus and underground, the whole city is reachable by the public transports also by night, a car isn't necessary. You can buy a two hour ticket for 2,10Euro (1,40Euro for children between 6-14), a day ticket for 6,10Euro (4,20Euro for children between 6-14) or a week ticket for 25,40Euro. Bus line 100 and 200
The city centre of Berlin is very big and it's not easy to see all the tourist attractions by foot. I think it could be a good idea to take either the bus n. 100 or the bus n. 200 from the Alexanderplatz to the Zoologischer Garten, in 30 minutes you will see the most important tourist attractions in Berlin. Bus 100 (Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden, Platz der Republik (Reichstag), Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Schloss Bellevue, Gro?r Stern, Breitscheidplatz, Zoologischer Garten). Bus 200 (Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden, Wilhelmstra?, Potsdamer Platz, Philharmonie, Breitscheidplatz, Zoologischer Garten).
