African summer house nestled between Mountains and Sea.

This cozy summer getaway has been newly renovated with all amenities sleeping 6 comfortably. Made completely out of wood, outdoor decks surround both floors. The three bedrooms, three bathrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen are all furnished with imported Indonesian teak. On the quarter-acre is a single garage. A large tree is home to a multitude of weaver birds and their intricate nests providing an idyllic and relaxing environment. The house looks onto the Tsitsikamma mountains, and to the Sunset in the West on the Beach. Those who are familiar with Sedgefield will know that the combination of Mountains and Sea make for ideal weather all year round. Unlike other coastal towns like Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, or Cape Town, Sedgefield has remained untouched; allowing a coastal experience without the hustle and bustle but with easy access to anywhere.

Sedgefield offers a wide range of activities. In addition to the five beaches and lagoon (with various water sports i.e. water skiing, sailing, canoeing). A prime spot for Whale- and bird-watching. There are several safari parks in the region; nearest is the Tsitsikamma nature reserve reflecting South Africa's rich biodiversity. If you fancy seeing all the 'Big 5', the Addo Elephant Park near Port Elizabeth is a must see, 2 hours away. Most Segefielders, however, meet every Saturday at the local Farmer's Market where various fresh foods and African crafts are sold. Should you wish to have a night on the town, or to simply go shopping, Knysna 20 minutes away offers several excellent restaurants, while the Garden Route Mall en route to George offers anything else you should need. The drive on the Garden Route along the coast is worth it alone! If not, Craft Markets, Bistros, Internet Café, and Grocery Stores are a mere 15-minute walk into the town centre.
