The bedrooms feature blackout blinds - the main bedroom opens up onto the balcony which has amazing views of the Adriatic. Two full bathrooms are featured at Penthouse Mavarcica. The shops are a 3 minute walk. The beach bar is 3 minutes away and caters hot food all day. There is a pizzeria at the apartment block itself which guests have really enjoyed. The pool area looks onto the Adriatic. The UNESCO protected town of Trogir is just five minutes away by car/water taxi -Trogir is a walled medieval town dating back 2,400 years .

The Island of Ciovo is attached by bridge to Trogir (Medieval Town over 2500 years old). Trogir is called a 'little Venice', a town-museum of the medieval heritage. Its history goes back to the Hellenic times when it was known as Tragurion. UNESCO recognized its values and included it in the registry of the world monument heritage. Mediterranean climate. Trogir is a jewel of a walled town with a wide waterfront promenade that encloses a maze of medieval streets. Summer Music festivals with classical and folk concerts in churches and open squares. Numerous market stalls for shopping. Places of interest include: Krka National Park - Wonderful waterfalls and lakes. Islands of Brac and Hvar both accessible from Ciovo. Shopping in Split.   • €100 breakage and key deposit to be given on arrival, this will be returned to you at the end of your stay. 10am checkout 3pm check in Tourist tax of approx €1 per day per person to be paid at tourist office. (No charge for children under 12 years; 12-18 .50 cent Euro)
    To confirm booking half the amount is payable immediately and the remainder is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

  • To confirm your booking 50% of the rental amount needs to be transferred into the bank account. This is non refundable. The remainder is then due one calendar month before your arrival. We highly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers illnesses, accidents etc.

  • The season in Ciovo over the last few years has been getting longer. The season now starts as early as March/April and running right through to October and November. We have had many clients go over at these times of year and have really enjoyed it. We think there is a benefit for each month and it depends on what holiday experience you are looking for. For example the early months of March and April offer a relaxed quite atmosphere plus Croatia offers warm weather in comparison to the UK, Ireland, Germany etc. The high season offers very warm weather, a lively atmosphere, right in the hustle and bustle of everything. The end of the season offers the last of the summer sun, a great time to do some sightseeing and to get a feel for Croatia and its beautiful countryside.
    Lots of festivals take place throughout the whole year. Split offers the Opera and Ballet. Why not go at Easter or Mid Term breaks? Call us at any stage should you want more information on the best time to go?

The entertainment area consists of a DVD and CD player, Satellite TV. A welcome pack is provided for guests to use to make you familiar with Ciovo/Trogir. Also a wide selection of cd's are available to use throughout your stay. An extensive list of artists are listed that we think you will enjoy.

Tourist Attractions

Some of the tourist attractions include Krka National Park – 72 Km of the Krka river and lakes with its wonderful waterfalls. Approximately 45 minutes by car from the apartment heading towards Sibenik. And a must see. Trogir – Is a jewel of a walled town with a wide waterfront promenade that encloses a maze of medieval streets. Trogir is a mere 5 mins by car or water taxi. Places of interest include Cathedral of St Lovro and Church of St. John the Baptist. 15th century town hall opposite the cathedral with a gothic yard. Island Hopping – The Islands of Brac and Hvar are easily accessible from the apartment. Regular ferry’s connect from Split to the Islands. First I want to say thanks for a great holiday. Your apartment was so clean and spacious, with fantastic views. Having two bathrooms and another separate toilet was ideal as there is six in our family. The balcony with access from both livingroom and main bedroom was great and drinking coffee there in the morning sun was just heavenly. The pool was great, clean and chlorine free, so it was even nicer than swimming in the clear sea water just down the road. The view from the pool area overlooking the bay was really beautiful. The small beach with cafe and diving school only three minutes away is a great attraction.The village, only ten minutes walk away has everything- supermarket, bakery, bars, restaurants, church, post office, ATM, hairdresser, doctor and pharmacy. For good measure an internet cafe opened recently. If that is not enough there is the added attraction of Trogir, which is 2400 years old, and only minutes away by taxi or water taxi. I loved it and felt that I had gone back in time when I visited there. We took on your recommendation to visit the Krka National Park. This was an amazing place, surely a place to be put on the "Must Visit" list of all who travel to this area. We couldn't get over the quality of the food in the restaurants and the low prices made the quality seem even better!
I certaily hope to visit again and if I do I will be making contact with you. Thanks again for helping us have such a great time.
