This famous thermal spa in Caldas de Rainha is said to be the oldest in Europe and our villa is only 10 minutes drive from this special day out. Also only 30 minutes drive is the wonderful outdoor baths were Portugal bottles its mineral water, natural springs flow into swimming baths were you can experience this refreshing water with healing properties.
The kids can enjoy supervised swimming and a kids play area while the adults just sit, relax and enjoy this very special place were you are sure to come back time after time.

Amazing Obidos Festivals:
During the month of July, Obidos comes alive with its famous festival.
Locals dress up in traditional costume display dance and song of old times. With the cobble stone streets of Obidos packed with tourists from near and far the town is definately the place to be. Wine and cholocate galore you will be amazed by the atmosphere and charm of Obidos, beuatiful flowers - traditional costume - music and dance on the streets - bars and eateries - a wonderful traditional village created for the festival were you can explore and buy gifts and eat BBQ and drink wine to your hearts content.
During December Obidos has its Christmas festival with snow falling (fake snow) santa around every corner, Christmas music playing through speakers and ofcourse hot wine and cholocate were else would you wish to be.
In the month of Feb Obidos has its famous World Cholocate festival, with life seize figures made from cholocate you shall be amazed with the detail and realism of the chocolate statue
