Aquopolis Water Park:
The town of Torrevieja hosts one of the Aquopolis Water Parks. Aquopolis is a great fun day out for all the family. The park has a large choice of water rides and gives you the chance to see the park's dolphins going through their daily displays. Rio Safari Elche:
Only fifteen minutes drive from Torrevieja is Rio Safari Elche. If you like animals, this park is for you. Take a train ride around the park to see all the animals, beautiful gardens and palm trees. Visit the reptile house and the bird house, and let the children feed the goats. Terra Mitica Theme Park:
For those who know how to enjoy themselves! Split into five regions, Rome, Greece, Egypt, Iberia and The Islands, the park has a host of rides, shows, shops and restaurants which are sure to thrill and entertain. Golf:
Golfing at Costa Blanca
Famous for its excellent beaches and sun drenched fairways the Costa Blanca is fast becoming one of the most popular places to play in Spain. Traditionally the main golf area has been around Villamartin but with the new courses opening in the Alicante area there really a superb choice of courses, all of which are maintained to the very highest standard. Campoamor. A very pretty site heralds a pleasant day's golfing in rather open countryside, where the garrigue shrub is the main and most attractive form of vegetation. The course is not hilly, and the length will appeal to big-hitters, who can try and reach two very short par 4s (the 11th and 13th) from the tee and pick up points on the par 5s. Las Ramblas. Located between two ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean, next to a luxury housing estate, this course requires the player to use great precision when hitting the ball, as both fairways and greens are narrow and demanding.
Villarmartin. Although yet to forge a great international reputation, Villamartín is well worth going out of your way for.
