Beaches / Coast:
The beautiful unspoilt beaches back onto tree lines of pine and eucalyptus trees and have a prestigious blue flag award for cleanliness. The sea is just a 20 minute walk away from the apartment, or a 5 minute drive.
Alternatively, you could arrive at the beach in minutes by taking one of the regular trailer rides, a taxi or a bus which costs around 50p. The purpose built 95,000 square metres of beach park has facilities which are second to none. Clean and well maintained changing, shower and toilet facilities, sunloungers and shade for a small charge, watersports and other activities. Boat trips are also available. At any of the many beach restaurants you will be able to relax with a cool beer and savour freshly caught fish, salads and snacks whilst looking out towards the majestic snow-capped Taurus Mountains.

This top class holiday location also offers the unique bonus of cultural and historical sights, such as the historic town of Side and the ruins of Aspendos and Perge, which are all within easy reach. From May to October classical music concerts and operas are held in the ancient amphitheatre at Aspendos, this is well worth a visit. At nearby Manavgat, you can see the beautiful Manavgat Falls, take a boat trip on the river and visit the Mosque. Antalya is only half an hour's drive away. See the picturesque old town and harbour, and enjoy the restaurants, bars and shops. The nearby Koprulu Canyon National Park provides rafting, canoeing and walking pursuits, and the ruins close by at Selge are worth seeing. In the winter months you can ski just an hour's drive away. Ski in the morning and relax on the beach or by the pool in the afternoon!
Golf:
Turkey is fast becoming a golfer’s paradise with the resort of Belek the most popular by far with international golfers. The Mediterranean resort is already home to 12 world class golf courses, all within a 5-15 minute drive of the apartment. All the courses in the region have been have been designed and developed by international teams of Golf architects, consultants and PGA Professionals. Course maintenance is also top notch. Belek was recently featured as one of THE places to go in Golf World's Golf Escapes 2007 supplement.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year and the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean on one side of the golf courses and the Taurus Mountains on the other, Belek offers the very best for those wanting a golfing holiday, or a holiday with the occasional round of golf! Particularly well known courses include the recently completed Cornelia, designed by Nick Faldo and Jack NIcklaus, the National, the Gloria, the Nobilis, the Tat and the Antalya golf courses and clubs. The Papillon golf course, designed by Colin Montgomerie, is currently under construction.
The golf season begins in earnest in October when most golf regions are winding down for the off season. Belek is one of the few places where golf can be played right throughout the winter in short sleeves. The main golf season runs to the end of June. Golf tee times can be booked in advance and transfers can be organized by request.
