This charming and spacious house is set in 1600m2 of Garden. Four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open plan lounge / dining room with spectacular views towards Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltru and the Mediterranean. Garden with own private pool, children’s play area with sandpit and tree-house, shaded French Boule pitch. Full size Mediterranean style BBQ area. Almond, Fig, and other fruit trees throughout the garden. Shaded, decked seating area with views towards the sea. The villa is located in the Catalan village of Canyelles which has a bakery (fresh bread and croissants), small supermarket, bank (cash point), paper shop, garage (delicious fresh bread throughout the day), pharmacy and several restaurants only 3 minutes drive away. 10 minutes drive away are the sandy beaches of the popular Mediterranean town of Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltru with excellent holiday resort facilities. A charming town square with a bar and outside seating area serving traditional Spanish Tapas.

The villa is located in the Catalan village of Canyelles just minutes from Sitges. It has a bakery (fresh bread & croissants), small supermarket, cash point, paper shop, garage (fresh bread throughout the day), pharmacy and several restaurants just 3 minutes drive away. 10 minutes drive away are the sandy beaches of the popular Mediterranean town of Sitges and Vilanova with excellent holiday resort facilities. A charming town square with a bar and outside seating area serving traditional Spanish Tapas and other dishes. A market every Sunday morning with excellent local produce. Fantastic family holiday home - recommended

We stayed in the house for two weeks and had a wonderful holiday. The house itself is very spacious, which was great as we were staying with our 3 children and 2 grandparents.

There was everything we needed, with all mod cons including Sky TV. Many days were spent lazing by the pool while the children swam, followed by bbqs in the evening. We were very happy with the house.

You'll need a car as there in nothing much in Canyelles. Vilanova i la Geltrú is a short drive for shopping and it is easy to park and get the train to Barcelona (only €2.60). Evenings in Sitges are good fun, where you can laze on the sand and then have a meal at a beachfront restaurant. A day trip to Freixenet winery and Montserrat was excellent.

Overall highly recommended.

We had nice holidays. The villa is good, clean, well maintained, everything is perfect.
Emma and Philip are extremely friendly people, which provide you by email and cell phone with all of information, what you need. I can only recommend.

Family vacation in Canyelles

We loved the time we stayed in the villa. It has everything to make a good vacation for our family.
It is locates in good spot for going out. We travelled north to see Costa Brava and spend some time in the beaches and small villages, we explored and enjoyed Girona very much, we loved the Dali museum in Figueres, went for walks in the hills, had nice time, shopping and good food in Vilanova and of course - Barcelona.
Each morning we made big breakfast in the villa and even had time for relaxing at the beautiful garden and the pool. Also the weather in the first week of October was on our side.

We stayed there during Sept. 2009, the house is well equiped the atmosphere is very worm like home away from home, we stayed a whole week, wish we could stay more time. The view and air outstanding, great for kids.

Beautiful villa in peaceful location

We stayed in the villa for a week in early August. The pool was fantastic, a good size and well used by all as the weather was glorious all week.

The villa is spacious and well set out. The kitchen in particular is well equipped, and so most evenings were spent enjoying a BBQ at the villa, after a day by the pool or at the beach. The garden is lovely, there is lots of space for children to play in, and they can enjoy the sandpit, treehouse, boule pitch, pool, table tennis table...! There is also a beautiful spot at the back of the garden for the adults to relax and look at the wonderful views.

It is situated in a quiet area about 15 minutes drive from Vilanova or Sitges. Sitges in particular was a great place in the evening, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Our two young children thought the beach in Vilanova was great. I would certainly recommend this villa to families with young children, as there is so much to do in the villa, but it is also a good base from which to explore this part of Spain.
