Golfing

There are a number of excellent courses in the area including Almerimar, La Envia, Playa Serena, Cortijo Grande and Los Moriscos. The pick of the bunch is Almerimar where golfers can enjoy a course of wide fairways, with a profusion of trees and plants which afford plenty of shade and, at the same time, serve as natural hazards, protecting the fast greens

Skiing

The beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range is close to Granada and a worthwhile few days away combining skiing with the magnificent sights of this historic city.

Beaches

Albunol is a 5 minute drive from the picturesque coastal village of La Rabita which has a lovely unspoiled beach, outside gym, play park, cafes and restaurants. There is a wide range of beaches on the Costa Tropical including La Mamola (10mins), Adra (10 mins), Calahonda (20 mins) Torrenueva (25 mins).
