| Notes: | The private entrance to the apartment is from the front gate of the main house. There are about 8 stairs leading down to the garden and apartment. Children are welcome, although this is a studio apartment, the lounge area can be used as a single bed. No smoking indoors, you are welcome to smoke on the terrace. Maid service is provided 3 times a week. Linen and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Laundry is available upon request in the main house. Lovely ground floor terrace facing the southern Atlantic Ocean. Access to the sea through the back gate. Large tropical garden with coconut trees, hibiscus and casurina trees. Lots of golden palms, mandavila vines and plumbego flowers. The property is securely gated. The pool and BBQ area are yours to use at your leisure. Although they are shared with the main house. The pool is very quite from the hours of 7-am to 4pm daily. |
Location Information
Your home away from home is within a few minutes walking distance to the Oistins main road which has everything from the famous Oistins Fish Fry Festival on Friday nights, a fresh fish market which is open daily, supermarkets, banking, a gym and various shops. Car rental is recommended as this is a very residential located property within walking distance of some beaches and surf breaks. However, if you would like to tour around the island in a hired car there is parking on the property. Bus transportation is available from Oistins which is a 20-25 min walk. The property is 8k from Bridgetown the capital of Barbados where you will find numerous historic sites and duty free shopping. The famous St Lawrence Gap area is a 10 mins drive and is full with nightlife and entertainment. Both the Historic Garrison Area and Lush Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary are only 15 - 20 mins away.
Special Interest Holidays
For guests wanting to learn how to surf, windsurf, or kitesurf, we can arrange lessons with boards and transportation. Island Safari Tours are in open air 4 wheel drives, this is an excellent way to see the island for the more adventurous tourist For a more comfortable island tour, we recommend Ted's Tour which is in the comfort of a lovely air conditioned large coach which will pick you up directly at the main gate of the house.
Golf Information:
The Barbados Golf Club is a 5 minute drive, Rockley Golf Course is a 15 minute drive. The island also boasts other world class golf courses such as the famous Sandy Lane and Royal Westmorland which are both within 30-40 minutes drive from the apartment.
