Skiing Information:

The Skiarena Karnten (Nassfeld-Hermagor) is a little known gem of a ski circuit. The ski resort has a good snow record due to its high altitude (over 2000m) and comprehensive snow cannon coverage. There is also a great selection of pistes and reputedly the longest gondola in Europe: from the village of Tropolach (610m) the new Millennium-Express gondola, carries skiers to the Madritsche at 1990m.
