For relaxing holidays, you can't beat this detached cottage with its pool in a large enclosed garden; set amongst the verdant hills of the island, it has been lovingly restored to provide all modern facilities, yet preserved many of the features of an old traditional property. A big joy of this property is the large terraced areas surrounded by a fenced garden with trees and flowers, that you can enjoy at different times of the day. The roomy terrace is a lovely sheltered spot with shade provided by trees or covered patios, and color provided by potted flowers. There is plenty of room to sunbathe, to enjoy the views and the stunning sunset, or to dine outside; there is also a stone-built barbeque perfect for outdoor cooking. Whether you choose to take your breakfast and meal, or sunbathe by he pool, enjoying the verdant hills and lush countryside, garden furniture and sun beds are at your disposal. There is a small front terrace, off the living room with views to the sea.

PYRGOS AREA: A holiday in the area of Pyrgos would suit those who would like to be not far from the beautiful beaches of Skopelos and do not mind being away from - but within easy reach of - Skopelos Town. The area consists of wooded hillsides, olive groves, plum or almond orchards and vineyards. Pyrgos is sparsely inhabited and a holiday here is generally a quiet affair.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental basis is per property, when occupied by 2 people. Add 10% per every extra person. Bed-linen and towels changed, cottage cleaned mid-week. Pool cleaned every two days. All water, electricity and taxes included. We will be waiting for you at Skopelos harbour to transfer you to the cottage and show you how everything works. The local transfer from the port to the 'Cottage' is included in the rent.
  • BOOKING CONDITIONS: Upon receipt of your Enquiry Form (see below) we will send you a prompt answer via email and we would make a preliminary reservation for seven days. Confirm your flight reservation and inform us via email. In order to hold your reservation, we will need to receive your deposit which covers 30% of your charge. You may send us your deposit by a Money Order from your local Bank. For early bookings we accept personal cheques. Upon receipt of your deposit you will receive confirmation of your booking and travel details with time tables of hydrofoils, etc. via email. We would send a written and signed certification for the reservation of the cottage, if client requests so. Balance of invoice is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. If booking less than 8 weeks prior to holiday, full payment is required.
  • Car rental: We are willing to arrange car rental for you. KIA PICANTO, HYUNDAI GETZ, OPEL CORSA or SUZUKI VITARA (ask for prices). Car rental includes: Unlimited kilometres, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) 700 euro, Local Taxes plus VAT, 24 Hour Assistance.

GROUND FLOOR BEDROOMS (STUDIO): sleep maximum of 4 people. For parties of more than two, the house has an extra studio on the lower floor of the property, which is very cool with stone flagged floors and a high pitched timber ceiling. The studio is private, not connected to the main house and has a separate entrance from the garden. There are two bedrooms with two single beds each one and a second fully tiled bathroom with shower and WC, and washing machine.

Notes: LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN: The front door opens into a spacious living room with two sofas, air conditioning set, dining table and windows with views to the garden and the hills. The kitchen area, in the same room, is equipped with fridge, sink, 4 ring stove, extractor fun, kettle. Off the living room there is a fully tiled bathroom with basin, WC and bathtub with shower. The sofa bed can accommodate an extra person, if required. There is a small front terrace, off the living room with views to the sea.

Just got back from Skopelos where we stayed at the Blue Cottage. It was the most relaxing vacation ever, we rarely saw cars driving by, it is the perfect location if you are looking to " recharge " yourself. The owners ( Dimitri and his mother ) cleaned the house every other day and changed towels and sheets. The house is an easy drive to some of the best beaches, we especially liked Hovolo and Kastani. Highly Recommended !!!!

What a wonderful holiday.......... the setting was perfect.
The views were amazing. The owners were very helpful and provided an excellent service from car hire to to the very well maintained and clean property.

Car Hire is essential. We would recommend this holiday to a family who want a quiet and relaxing time in wonderful surroundings. Skopelos Town is great for lovely restaurants and bars.

the only problem was the number of bees, the rest was perfect: silence, freshness, beauty, harmonic...the perfect location for a holiday!
