Charming stone cottage in beautiful rural location close to lake

Casa Luisa is a charming detached stone cottage with comfortable accommodation for 6 guests and which has recently been restored to a high standard. It is attractively decorated and maintains all typical features such as wooden floors and walls upstairs and beams throughout. Casa Luisa is self-catering and suitable for year round holidays as central heating is included in the rental price. The cottage comprises of a ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, living room, entrance hall, shower room, and a double bedroom. A unique feature of the kitchen is an antique stone bread oven. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms (one with twin beds), and a complete bathroom with jacuzzi. Outside is a sheltered terrace with barbeque for those romantic dinners 'al fresco'. There is a pretty garden, a garage and 2000 sq.mts. of fenced land and wonderful views across a valley.

Casa Luisa located in Larazo, an attractive rural setting in central Galicia with lovely views across a valley, and 4kms away from the village of Vila de Cruces and there you will find all the facilities that you may require. Please bear in mind that this is rural Galicia and ideal for relaxing and enjoying the local way of life and yet it is not far from the monumental city of Santiago de Compostela, approx. 50kms away. Santiago is also the closest airport (40kms). The lake of Portodemouros is only 1km away and is the perfect place fo swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing, rowing. The countryside here is great for nature-lovers, bird watchers, cyclists, and hikers with plenty of quiet country lanes and variety of wildlife, plus there are many natural beauty spots and ancient monuments to visit. Galicia is a totally different part of Spain - it is beautiful, green, has a mild climate and wonderful seafood and 'ribeiro' wine.

No-smoking is appreciated.

Great cottage in Galicia.

The cottage lived up to it,s description and more.It is by far the best well equipped cottage I have stayed in ,the furnishings and general state of the cottage were exellent.The cottage and surrounding area are so peaceful and would suit anyone who wants to unwind and relax.The owners gave us a truly warm welcome and were so helpful in everyway and made our stay even more enjoyable.I would reccomend cottage and surrounding area,the bar down the road gave us a warm welcome and added to our fantastic holiday.
