Chalet Mont Blanc - fabulously appointed luxury Chalet in Argentiere
This fabulously appointed chalet was built in 2006 and has been tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort in mind. The chalet comfortably sleeps eight people, has a large eight man jacuzzi (brand new), heated boot warmers, a large open fireplace (firewood supplied), fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with feather duvets and pillows, four flat screen televisions (satellite) and a Bose sound system. It is situated just across the river from the Grand Montets and is a mere 5 minutes walk from the lifts, panda club and savoy nursery slopes. Argentiere village is a 10 minute walk and has a plentiful supply of restaurants, bars and shops. Chamonix consists of four main ski areas which cater for all levels of skier, the chalet has plenty of parking for those who wish to have the flexibility of having their own transport.

Notes to the rental rates

25% of the rental amount is required at the time of booking, the remaining 75% will be due six weeks prior to your arrival date. All payments to be made by direct bank transfer - details supplied upon booking.
A security deposit of 350€ will be collected on arrival, this will be fully refunded at the end of your stay provided that nothing is broken damaged or missing and no special cleaning is required.

There is and extra charge of 130€ for linen, towel rental and final cleaning payable in cash on departure.

The Jacuzzi may be used up until 11pm
Any complaints from local residents due to excess noise around the jacuzzi after 11pm will result in the security deposit being withheld.

Summer
Chamonix is as popular in the summer as in the winter, the main attraction being the mighty Mont Blanc which is popular with climbers. The chamonix valley has a huge amount to offer those who like outdoor activities during the summer months, the walking is superb with clearly marked and well maintained trails. Companies offer white water rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, climbing (both indoor and outdoor), glacier skills, horse riding and a special range of planned activities for children. Chamonix has a large indoor / outdoor swimming pool, a summer luge, gym, indoor climbing wall and a huge variety of shops and restaurants. There are several excellent spas in local towns.
Skiing Information:
Argentiere is home to the world renowned Grand Montets ski area - offering challenging and varied terrain for the more experienced skier and snowboarder. For the less experienced Chamonix has a variety of different ski areas including Brevent, Flegere and Domaine du Balme. The Mont Blanc pass also covers the nearby area of Les Houches (home to the fantastic vielle luge restaurant - ). St Gervais, Megeve, Courmayeur and Les Contamines are all within an easy drive. The Chamonix valley offers plenty of green, blue and red runs to satisfy beginners and intermediates alike. Chamonix also has the reputation of being fantastic for off piste skiing, the most famous run being the Vallee Blanche, an 18 kilometre run descending from the top of the Aguille de Midi.
Golf Information:
Chamonix has an excellent 18 hole golf course Local towns of Megeve and Evian also have excellent golf courses.
