This unique place is situated in a private property of 30ha, and distance 1,5km from the local small Village of Troviscais. The place is very romantic and is surrounded by nature where you can find among other the local trees like the arbutus tree and the typical tree of the Alentejo, the cork tree. Sometimes you can hear the fox and sense the wild boar particularly at night. It´s also possible to observe the local country side activities, like the pasture of the cattle or the picking of the wheat and corn from the fields. Other activities like bird watching, horse riding, canoeing or simply walk to River (15 minutes walk), and have a swim, are the big attractions of the situation of the house. In alternative you can always drive (20 minutes) to the wonderful beaches along the coast. The house is full equipped and has place for 5 people. More information can be given through the web site. Rental rates for the farmhouse in Alentejo Litoral, Portugal

Notes to the rental rates

• The daily rates for the house are: 150 Euros per night on high season and 120 Euros per night on low season. High season goes from the 15 June to 15 of September, also in the periods of Christmas and New Year, from the 15 of December to the 15 of January and also in the periods of Carnival and Easter.
  Because this periods have flexible dates, the information is given each year. For booking, a deposit of 20% of the total cost must be granted with one month in advance. Meals are not included in the rates. Included in the rates are the cleaning of the house and the changing of the bed sheets, provided once or twice a week according to the needs of the renter.
  There is no security safe box in the house and renters are responsible or the security of there own personal belongings.

Apart from the local countryside activities, as the local community is still very active, one can experiment activities such as birdwatching, canoeing, horse riding, skiing or walks along the river, or simply doing nothing and enjoying nature. In the close touristic Village of Vila Nova de Milfontes, one can also ski either in the Atlantic or in the river Mira.
